Mr X Posted 14 June, 2009 Share Posted 14 June, 2009 Assuming we have a team and club to watch I was really hoping for a big reduction in ticket prices so that I can afford to go more often £25 + was too much for championship football in my opinion and made it unaffordable for most people. Thinking along the lines of £15 a ticket max for league 1, is this a realistic prospect or will they be much more? thoughts......

Also how does dropping down a league make it unaffordable? If we went into the Premeirship and charged £30 a ticket my guess is you would suddenly become wealthy enough to go and 'watch' the team. Topic being debated well enough on another thread.
swannymere Posted 14 June, 2009 Share Posted 14 June, 2009 If you bothered to have a seasn ticket before you would know that renewal last season was only £280 for an adult in the Northam which works out at £12.50 a game.
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 14 June, 2009 Share Posted 14 June, 2009 I just wish we could get this business sorted out and I could then apply for my next season ticket,, I'm really having withdrawal symptons with no SMS lately, even after last seasons carp display............ Are you sure it was that price for "early bird" renewal? I thought it came out nearer £15 a game? I can't remember

Jesus, why the hostility? Not everyone can afford a season ticket does that mean we are all just plastic fans?

Out of interest, are you disabled hence why you only had to pay £280? I'm an adult in the Northam End who renewed during "March Madness" and paid £380. I know this as fact as I just went and checked my receipt.
Master Bates Posted 14 June, 2009 Share Posted 14 June, 2009 By the way, that makes it about £16.52 a game, and if you paid £280 then that would make it £12.17 a game and not £12.50.

Speaking as someone who lived in Nottingham for a couple of years and went to see Forest in League One and County in League Two a few times.... both were about £20. Bugger, i'll have to check but for some reason £280 is ringing more bells, even then it's still ferkin' cheap, and no i don't think it makes me a better fan (do people still argue about who's the better fan?)
