  1. My wife's op was scheduled and handled brilliantly, it's the stark contrast between that and the service from the medical centre that is frustrating. Anyway, she is now going round to Fleetwood drop-in centre this lunch time to get things checked out.
  2. My wife had an operation on her shoulder on Monday, carried out on behalf of the NHS at the local private hospital. She was told to contact our local medical centre to have the wounds checked after 4 days, therefore tomorrow, July 4th. She rang the medical centre on Tuesday to make an appointmnt for Friday the 4th, and was told the earliest available slot was on the 16th.

USA again pausing ammunition supplies to Ukraine, in particular anti-aircraft missiles. Russia says this is good as it brings us nearer to the end of the SMO.

    Israel

Another point is that in almost all the other conflicts the UK are tacitly, or even actively, opposed to the aggressor / oppressor regime; Russia, the junta in Mysnmar, the Assad regime in Syria, etc. In the Gaza conflict we are supportive of Israel's right to self defence, and in some eyes of the actions of Netanyahu and his cronies. In this case, we are failing to stand up for "the little guy".
