If you cant even read the words I wrote properly, I think we're done.

Control of possession. You literally just typed it before you asked the question. And yes, we were too slow today when we had the possession, Forest were quicker in thought and physically, that will happen because we weren't in this league last year.
-
This is the reality btw. People can push their agendas about things they've chosen not to like, 3 at the back, Stephens, RM, passing it to each other, whatever it may be but the reality is if your main goals and assists man is out of his depth in terms of speed of thought and foot then the rest of it becomes meaningless.

The early signs have shown us we played well against one team and not so well against another. That's what early signs have shown us, nothing else. The jury will be out until the end of the season when we do it or we don't. That's the nature of the competition. Luckily, for people who enjoy talking crap like "hasn't proved himself in the PL yet" or "the jury is still out as to whether we can stay up or not", there's loads of games left until it's decided whether we stay up or not, so milk it.

Fuck off with this shit as well. Just utter bollocks. We've stuck a 3rd "CB" if you want to call it that, in for quite a while now and at no point has it screamed playing for a point or defending for our life. Not last season, last week or today have we defended for our life. The extra player at the back has allowed us more control in possession and on turnovers. There's probably very valid arguements for different systems but you lose the arguement immediately if you talk bollocks like this.

RM and his abject style is currently 1 for 1 in terms of success and if he keeps us up that'll be 2 for 2, so lets just see how that pans out shall we.
-
Love people like this. Willing to stick to your guns in spite of all evidence knowing that one day, however many years of success we have in between, it will go wrong and you'll be right. It's great messageboarding.

KWP was by far our best attacker today so if you want to die on any bashing hill then I really suggest you do it on the one marked "why did you move KWP from the left" and not the "what did he offer?" one
-
Him being a success or not is not going to come down to a sub you didn't like. Don't think Sugawara offered much going forward at all today and on the basis we had spent 70 minutes struggling to create anything it felt like a different plan was a good idea.
-
Except for all the times it hasn't of course. Anyway... just weren't good enough on the day. It's not a reflection on anything or anyone, it's just a day when you're new to a league and a slightly more experienced and powerful side beat us.
-
Bit like someone who won't or can't adapt to their manager being a success.
-
Really glad everyone got moved around for that. Top stuff.
-
It didn't though. The goal we scored that literally promoted us starts with us playing with the ball next to our goal. I'm sorry that distracts you from realising I am the best supporter ever.
-
We had 3 that started yesterday, 2 players on the bench who can play in those 3, one of those is seemingly on the move, the other is 18. Plenty Every single thing you read or see about him smacks of an ideal Martin player.
-
Oh it's perfection you want, success all season. Good good. Yeah, we didn't get regularly destroyed yesterday doing it but good point. That's not true though but wonderful point anyway.
-
Well having someone doing it 1/10 times is better than nobody doing it at all. I agree his final ball needs work but don't agree the answer to that is learn somewhere else unless we're going to replace him, because we will need those attributes at times (like yesterday for example when we're up against a deep defence then having a wide player to stretch it is better than not).
-
He's our only left sided player that actually attacks the byline and goes past people. Therefore attributes that will be useful. Unless that changes then he quite rightly isn't going anywhere and certainly not to the Championship under the weird guise of "getting you ready for a different league" when he could just stay in said league and find his feet in it...like us as a team.
-
I think a whole season of doing something and being successful is a better indicator of success and, in answer to the original question, a pretty good explanation as to why we're doing it rather than a hypothetical opinion of yours.
-
I've had a thought and yep, the promotion was pretty successful.
-
It's beyond comprehension that people still ask this after watching us do it for a year and be successful.
-
It was a talksport interview rather than the press conference you're referring too. And no. I'm saying there's no evidence it's a choice between one or the other. I agree but these two are completely different players to O'Riley. As I've said elsewhere i don't think we're signing MOR and haven't believed that since we had a bid rejected and made it clear the finances were too much and his team then seemingly went around briefing to any journalist they could that he's agreed personal terms with various clubs. However he clearly offers more productivity in goals and assists than our two new guys so I very much doubt the club have made a conscious decision to go with Fernandes specifically over O'Riley. It's clearly much more of a case that a player with the profile they like is available at a price they can do a deal at. Maybe that comes round for MOR at some stage or maybe it's someone else with his qualities and like Martin alluded to today they find someone who can provide productivity in attacking areas.
-
They seem nothing like each other at all so there's no evidence it's one or the other. Whether we sign O'Riley or not, the idea we have signed this guy instead of him is baseless.
-
Well that's a different interview but anyway, are you say we are in for him still and this guy isn't an alternative?
-
Okay, I don't believe that at all but anyway, either way, whether we sign MOR or not one day, there's no evidence at all to suggest this guy is an alternative.
-
When do you think it's important we are in for him if it's not right now?
