What an amazing day, I've dreamed of this 😊 proud day - absolute credit to Russell Martin who is a gem of a manager, all the players who were magnificent, the backroom staff, the owners and us the fans. We are back where we belong 😊

This evening has been the prefect gift 😊 - a controlled and clinical when we needed to be. First half we were patient and that enabled us to push on in the second half and win comfortably. Superb goals from both Smallbone and Adam Armstrong 😊 Adam's second, a penalty was expertly despatched. Flynn Downes was just phenomenal tonight 😊 My MOTM. He is just so so good and the run to set up Arma was top. Smallbone was class 😊, he was everywhere tonight and such a good goal from him to get us in front. Arma was great, his work rate is immense and two goals 😊 Brooks was class 😊, lovely interplay with Will for the first. He should have had a penalty too, how on earth did the ref not give that! The ref was shocking tonight. Jack was immense tonight 😊, proper captain and leader and it was his run and pass which led to us finally getting a penalty. Aribo is a delight to watch 😊 such a physical presence. KWP, THB, Bednarak and Fraser brilliant too 😊 along with McCarthy who is showing his class and experience in goal 😊 Such a commanding presence and over both legs has made numerous saves to keep us in a good position. Absolutely brilliant from RM and the coaching staff, get in! 😊

Downes was class as usual today 😊 McCarthy was excellent dominating his area and made two very good stops 😊 Bednarek was very good too 😊 Jack made some very important interceptions 😊 the whole team were solid today 😊

Very happy with that today. We had to be solid defensively and we were. Hopefully we can make home advantage count on Friday in the second leg COYR 😊

Great performance today and to go into the playoffs with a win is just what we needed 😊 Game plan executed perfectly by RM. Really liked the 5-3-2 formation, suited us. Onwards and upwards 😊

Very dissappointing again. I said it after Tuesday but we have to get back to basics and quickly. Getting the ball forward quicker is one thing that has to improve. It felt like too many changes were made today and it affected our rhythm. McCarthy made several outstanding saves today, he played very well. Both Fraser and Edozie looked promising and put in several good crosses but we had noone looking to get on the end of them. Really frustrating today.

Hopefully we have a big reaction after Tuesday evening. 3-0 to us - Adam Armstrong x2 and Sulemana to score - COYR 😊

As Jo Tessem said on Solent last night we simply have to get back to basics. That starts by having a solid base at the back. Since February we have conceded far too many goals, I think we've only kept three clean sheets since then. One thing that seriously has to improve is stopping crosses coming into our own box. We've conceded far too many from this happening recently.

Jack will definitely be back in the team to rally the troops. A proper leader 😊

We missed Downes massively tonight. Far too open in the midfield. Too many times we were exposed. Stuart Armstrong aswell, we had no drive which he provides in abundance.

Such a poor performance. I expected a reaction from us tonight after the weekend.

I can only think we are consuming more energy for the second half as we were not on our level in the 1st.
