We got through and are in the hat for the next round - that's all that matters. Edozie was very good in the first half. Prowsey clinically dispatched his penalty second half was much better, Perraud who has been one of our best players in recent games came on and we went back to a back four. Stuart Armstrong was so unlucky with his effort late in the second half which rattled the crossbar. All of our penalties in the shoot out were clincial so job done

Really pleased for Bella-Kotchap Prowsey should have been picked in my opinion by Southgate as offers world class dead ball delivery and takes a dominant penalty as proved once again last night (twice). At least he will get time to work with the new manager now.

I voted unsure as clearly we need a big name manager to galvanise the whole fanbase and the club. Surely we are speaking to other candidates as well. Nathan Jones has done really well in the championship but the Premier League is a completely different challenge.

Someone on the ugly inside forum still thinks Gallardo is our top choice.

I'm still hoping that we have a list of candidates and Jones is just one of the names on the list. We should be going all out for a high calibre manager something which will excite the whole fan base. Poch would be the dream choice. Gallardo, Benitez, Gerrard e.t.c.

Loved Ralph, he gave us so many great moments. Galvanised us completely when he joined and worked miracles with a very tight budget under the previous ownership. Wish him all the best

I for one will always be grateful for the job Ralph did for us He has kept us in the top flight on a very tight budget and improved players. I loved his enthusiasm, his love and care for the club and he worked dam hard to be successful. We had some great times including our charge to the top of the league during the behind closed doors season, our run of form during project restart and some great wins against the big six over the last four years. I wish him well for the future and I have no doubt he will do very well in his next job.
