One thing I noticed was the players reactions. When Romeu scored they all went crazy. They obviously were desperate to win, and they played very hard. It's good to see them really into the match like the fans.
JWP and Yoshi were excellent. Redmond, Bertrand, Austin, and Hoj all played well and kept the pressure on.
Ralph, for the love of God please leave Yoshi in over Stephens.
Yoshida is soooooo much better. He needs to be out there every week.
I think everyone played well. Upfront we caused problems, and the mids were excellent.
Very efficient today. I think Ralph picked the right team today. I feel much better with Yoshi back there, its just "calmer". Upfront we are giving them problems when we get possession. I have no idea what Fulham is doing on the left side, Bertrand is running down the pitch completely free.
In the final 1/3 Austin moves fine, he does make good runs and has a nose of the ball and goal. Its just the other 2/3 of the pitch that is issue
Against Fulham with this line up, we should have possession which means chances around the box, which is Austins thing
I think Ralph has got it right today. Yoshi and Bertrand for Stephens and Targett is a key for me. Austin should be able to do some damage against the crappy Fulham defence. Get a lead and then bring on Armstrong
The #1 positive is that we were so poor it will create a massive sense of urgency on the Fulham match, which is a must win. The players should be embarrassed and ready to go hard at home, and Ralph should finally start giving up on his preferred style, and start finding ways to win with the squad he has.
