  1. Get your drift but is he really that good?
  2. Me too. I'm just hoping both of them draw or lose a game in the next couple of weeks so we have the opportunity to take it to the last day.
  3. Because they were going to lose at some point and tonight, unluckily for us, was the night.
  4. Yeah. So to sum up: Us to win the lot, Huddersfield to get no more than 4 points and Colchester to drop points once. Not impossible and made more intriguing by the fact Colchester play Huddersfield. Wouldn't put any money on it though!
  5. Hartlepool have plenty to play for. Their position isn't quite as comfortable as it looks. They have to answer a charge of playing an ineligible player (he was suspended) in a match they won. I would imagine they will get a points deduction.
  6. A draw means that we have the opportunity at least to take it to the last day. can't ask for more than that.
  7. Quite agree. Of course the circumstances tonight are disappointing but this was the only game I had them down for a definite win. I really don't think they will get 79 points, what the result does confirm is that we will need to win the lot. Will be worried however if they beat Millwall.
  8. I am one and my educated guess is as above. Anybody know the reporting period for the new company?
  9. I think it is pie in the sky to assume the club is making anything other than a significant operating loss.
  10. Agreed. Fonte will be on a very big wage considering he happily dropped a division. Need to factor in Lambert's goal bonuses as well. Not many of them last season!
  11. No we didn't. Easiest game they had. Next three Brentford away, Walsall home, millwall home. Won't win more than 1.
  12. Huddersfield will not get 79 points. I reckon they get 4 or 5 from the next 3 after tonight.
  13. Au contraire. I find it difficult to believe that Huddersfield will calmly stroll through their last 7 games with automatic promotion form gaining at least 14 points. The best prepartion for next season is winning as many as possible in this season.
  14. We'll still be able to get the annual accounts from Companies House.
  15. Huddersfield's last 5 home games: 0 Wins 4 Draws and 1 Defeat
  16. Quite. considering what they have to come I think I'd be happy for them to win on Saturday and therefore have as much riding on the game against us as we hopefully will!
  17. I haven't seen it but they are probably treating it as a mid week match. We all know, however, that it was our weekend game.
  18. Very tongue in cheek!
  19. Well let's hope there aren't another two clubs who "get lucky" next season while a few more of the owner's millions are being spent.
  20. Bit OTT there old chap. I think it is more about the fact that despite all the advatages we have we are a fair way behind them even if you add back the ten points.
  21. You want to try living there at the moment.
  22. Agree. I have Huddersfield at 78. We will need to win the lot.
  23. Quite right. All the rest are irrelevant. Getting past Bristol & MK will look after itself if we go on the run we need. The top 5 are out of sight.
  24. I have Huddersfield on 72 points from 42 with Colchester falling badly away by then. Will need Huddersfield to lose 2 of the last 4.
