The good thing about the play offs is that it keeps the division competitive right until the end of the season. If it was 3 up it would have been all over weeks ago.

I think you'll find that they look at the head to head before a one off play off.

Firstly you said we need 7 points to have a chance of going up - wrong. We will go up if we get seven. As far as I can gather WH won 1 game today. It is still unlikely that they will win the next 3.

Alternatively: We need a win at a team with nothing to play for and our fans will make nearly 50% of the crowd. We need a draw against a team whose home record is nothing special. We need a win against a team already relegated or need to come on a kamikaze must win mission.

We're having a shocker as it stands. Lots of games not going the way that would suit us if we look ahead to WH's final 3 matches.

Madness. You are assuming that WH will win 4 in a row (possible, nothing more) and, in the process, they will overturn a GD of +9. Highly, highly unlikely. We've even scored more goals as well. Please be realistic.

Another draw for WH; leaving us requiring 4 points for promotion. Other games to watch out for: Burnley v Cov - Burnley win. Hopefully Cov relegated before we play them. Brim v Bristol C - Brum to win and keep Bristol C honest against WH Tuesday night. Millwall v Leicester - Leicester win to keep their play off hopes alive, they play WH in the penultimate match. Derby v Middlesbrough - Derby win to spoil Boro play off ambitions. Watford v Hull - Hull win to keep their play off hopes alive. They play WH last day.

Now this one is sold out we should overtake Derby in the attendance table. I presume Derby offer some very deep discounts?

The key thing is that Brighton have something to play for. That only guarantees effort though. I see in the round of games next Tuesday, WH's opponents are Bristol so there's a chance they'll need a result too.
