A bad day for us but, to be honest, it is going to pretty irrelevant unless we can get to an average of around 1 point per game.

I think we need to change things already. Having a look back at the last PL relegation season in November we played West Brom, Palace and Pompey at home and Norwich away and got only 5 points. Effectively we (Wigley) blew it at that point. We have a similar run around November and early December this time. Rather than considering whether NA's had enough time I think things should be driven by the upcoming fixtures....

Norwich, Reading and Swansea at home and QPR away all between 10 Nov and 8 Dec. The results against this lot will be critical in the final analysis just like when we had a similar run under Wigley at the same time 7 years ago. I don't know if NA will get the results we need.

The ironic thing is that we're not in the bottom 3 and unlikely to be after tomorrow's games.

If I remember correctly we went on a very poor run after Burley took over and various players (Niemi, Quashie) left in the January window. At one stage it looked like we could've been dragged in to another relegation battle until we got some results over the last 6 or so games..

I think WH will fail to win on Monday and we'll have a chance to say cheerio to Jaidi next week. Would be nice to see Seabourne get a game too.

I hope Bristol City win on Saturday so that the relegation places are put to bed. Don't want any chance, however remote, that we'd send Coventry down and give Pompey a chance to stay up.
