Leicester bringing on experience. I think we'll struggle these last 25-30 minutes.

You can see why Wood and Quarshie have been dropped. Both so poor positionally and both dive in too much.

Archer needs hooking. We need to stop playing him.

Good goal tbf

It's had the feel of a pre-season friendly which is understandable given the number of changes. The lower intensity has allowed Romeu to boss the midfield though. Archer isn't taking his opportunity unfortunately.

Cyle Larin is what Damion Downes was supposed to be.

Well placed penalty. We have a new taker.

Ooh Larin. Okay

I'm worried they're going to give this to Archer

Clear foul on Matsuki.

Looks like Archer has a strike partner for once! I'm hopeful we'll see a better performance.

Good to see Sesay on the bench. I hope he get's an opportunity.

Not only that, Peretz is so much more vocal and shows support to his teammates. It's the little things Bazunu never did.

Well balanced view I thought.

Archer looked even less match fit last night. The cup game this weekend is the time to give him minutes. While I'm not suggesting we should be changing a winning formula, I stand by the opinion he can only be an effective striker with a supporting centre forward in a front two as evidenced from his time at previous clubs.

It's a false narrative that Larin couldn't play 45 minutes. He played 73 minutes in the Europa league against La Liga opposition two weeks ago and looked an effective CF last weekend. I know we're managing Stewart's minutes but he showed last night he could play 45. Archer hasn't played in weeks. If anyone wasn't fit to play 45 minutes, it was him.

Absolutely. Thankfully 45 minutes +6 was enough to rectify that mistake and now it's time to stick with the winning formula of having a proper centre forward up top.

Yeah, they inflicted it on us! 😂

"Tonda Eckert gets away with murder" Blackmore You can say that again. Stewart and Charles you legends!

The difference having a centre forward on the pitch this half just goes to show how catastrophic that team slection was.

We've gained Larin but lost the delivery of Bree

So did I. He scored a goal and held the ball up effectively a couple of times. He looked twice the player Archer is. Even if your hyperbolising statement was true, he'd still be an upgrade even when blowing out of his arse.

Who told you that?
