Recently signed a new contract with a £5m sell-out clause (plus another £5m for his backroom staff). Given we'll have to spend a small fortune just to sack Martin because we stupidly gave him a new contract, I don't think Rohl is likely unfortunately.

He would do better with this squad solely for the fact he knows how to organise a defense. ABK would be straight back in the fray and Ugochukwu strikes me as his sort of signing. I don't think he would be interested in the job either but we would be the tamest fanbase he'd ever of had to contend with.

To be at least competitive you need to keep a disciplined shape and hold a defensive line. Russell doesn't know how to coach that so I'll go 5-0 Arsenal.

True but I can just about forgive a lack of ability. You don't need a technically gifted team to coach a team to operate an effective press. Same goes for keeping a disciplined shape and holding a defensive line.

For weeks now I've felt we needed to play a front 2. Archer and BBD or another combination of our shit strikers. We don't have a proper CF thanks to negligent recruitment (not including Onuachu as we refuse to play him for some reason). Honestly think this squad best suits 4-4-2 and a counter attacking style. We have pace in this team but we don't utilise it. We're slow and ponderous. We put our own defence under pressure for no benefit. We don't use the transition at all. Win the ball, pass it back. It's a shit flawed game plan that is being exposed time and time again.

Potter would be great but he reportedly turned down Ajax last summer because they couldn't agree terms. I doubt we'll be matching what Ajax were. We'll go cheapo option again. Corberan or Eustace don't exactly inspire confidence but they'll be the most likely. I'd prefer Danny Rohl if we went down that route but apparently he has a £5m sell-out clause which would probably put us off.
