  1. Archer has done nothing for this club.
  2. Here's hoping he's open to staying beyond the end of the season.
  3. Only Scienza and a returning Ramsdale look ready for the Premier League to me. Jander and Robinson could still develop into Premier League level players. Harwood-Bellis has the technical ability but he's lacking defensively for that level. He'd certainly be one of the worst starters at centre-half in the league. A decent bench warmer perhaps.
  4. I never took to him to be honest. Being our direct replacement for Danny Ings in the Premier League, he always symbolised our decline for me. Not his fault and he is a proven commodity in the Championship but his body language hasn't looked right for a while now. Not celebrating our goal against Portsmouth said it all. He wanted out and I won't miss him.
  5. Solak is a moron. If you're putting your faith in him to oust Ankerson, you're going to be disappointed.
  6. Onuachu is levels above any of the forwards we have now. That includes Stewart. He outscored all of them in the Premier League last season.
  7. Despite his tendency to punch the ball away instead of catching, he does at least try and deal with crosses. This makes him a huge upgrade on Bazunu in my book.
  8. The 80's called and they want their shoulder pads back.
  9. FFS He was my first choice. I didn't realise he wanted the job too.
  10. Somebody that has managed a football club before.
  11. Play-offs essentially out of reach in January. Thanks Sport Republic.
  12. Nothing Eckert can do will get me back on side. Took away all our momentum after we scored. The sooner he's gone the better. Even more so for Sport Republic.
  13. We've been very poor since the subs unfortunately
  14. Quick fire double subs changed too much too quickly.
  15. Not good at defending crosses.
  16. At least it's 4 at the back. Would have preferred the focal point and physicality of Stewart up front but a decent option to come on in the second half I guess. I personally would have gone the other way around with Armstrong's pace against tired legs in the second half
  17. I wouldn't trust them. Probably laced with laxative!
  18. Are they allowing alcohol in the concourse?
  19. My main concern is this team barely has a pair of bollocks between them. And they belong to Scienza. I've seen too many indifferent performances from these players (including in the last derby) that I struggle to believe they'll suddenly start showing passion and fight tomorrow. Neither Will Still or now Tonda Eckert strike me as managers capable of getting the players fired up. I don't think Eckert will ever get the fans back on side if he doesn't win this game.
  20. Agreed although I don't care if they're young or not.
  21. So fucking predictable.
  22. He did and we were.
  23. I'm worried we're going to revert to a back 3. At home, to a depleted Hull City. Despite our recent form suggesting we shouldn't.
  24. Felt very postive after the first 45. Especially with us switching to the back four. I particularly enjoyed the performances of Bragg and Matsuki. Most of that feeling of positivity was unfortunately undone with that second half performance. I think Tonda was right to switch shape second half as whatever tweak Doncaster made caused us endless problems. It's still alarming just how stark the difference was when there were no changes of personel after the interval. Complacency perhaps? I just hope the first 10 minutes of that second half doesn't mean that's the last we'll see of a four at the back system. It was clearly working in the first half. I'm willing to give Peretz the benefit of the doubt given he's not match sharp but it wasn't a great debut. Still, he managed a couple of decent saves. I can understand the Boruc comparison as he seems a bit of a nutter.
  25. It's okay. Quarshie is marshalling him.
