  1. Just want to finish above 3 clubs. Not fussed who.
  2. That enforced change of system got us over the line. Completely agree.
  3. That would be more than decent with our squad.
  4. Well, we'll have half of those things this time.
  5. Spent most of the second half of the la liga season as a CF and banged in a few in that role.
  6. I'm still hoping we go after Myrto Uzuni.
  7. If he's still available against Newcastle, he must play because he's our best player.
  8. We aren't half boring to watch when the opposition has us sussed.
  9. We will if we continue faffing around at the back against the quality and athleticism we'll be facing. Especially if we don't sort out the goalkeeping position.
  10. Only thing that might be gained from that half is opening Russells eyes to his goalkeeping blindspot.
  11. McCarthy 😂
  12. Could do with upping the tempo a bit. Zipped it about very well against Montpellier.
  13. Sulemana going down without contact can't be good. Nobody will want to buy him if he's crocked.
  14. Presumably he was moved out wide because his passing is woeful.
  15. Manning will never be playing in our midfield. At least I pray he won't be.
  16. Ok I can't see Bednarek. Commentator must have misspoke.
  17. Who's Bednarek in for?
  18. Technically they don't have to be confirmed until the registration deadline on transfer deadline day but it will be announced earlier than that. Last year they were announced 3rd August. You can sometimes see which positions we still intend to fill based on the numbers left free between 1 and 11.
  19. I hope we'll see Tyler Dibling today. He's been the most entertaining part of these pre-season games.
  20. Few skeletons in his closet.
  21. I see Chelsea have signed their 6th senior goalkeeper. They'll surely be looking to off-load some.
  22. I wonder if Lallana has got over his "feeling"...
  23. If only.
  24. I think if you live close enough to come and support them every week then I don't see the problem (Obviously those that have since moved further away have made their bed). I personally don't understand those that choose teams they're too far away to support if they have options closer by but then my joy of football comes from attending the game and enjoying the occasion with other fans. I'm sure some have good reasons and certainly those choosing clubs like Saints could never be labelled "glory hunters" but there's little doubt the majority are choosing to favour success over the ability to go to a game. Not a mindset I understand. I'd feel too detached from it all.
  25. The header against Argentina is excellent. Seems to have a decent turn of pace for a striker his size too.
