That's about as good as I expected. Livromento, who impressed me more although he was one year older, was sold for £32m + £8m addons. Given this deal is straight profit for PSR and we get a decent sell-on clause, it's a good fee in the end in my view . Let's not forget he's been well off the boil for over 6 months now. It will be interesting to see how he handles the expectation. Personally, I think we've pulled Everton's pants down here but only time will tell.

Special mention to Flynn Downes for being especially shit today. Constantly giving the ball away and only passing the way he's facing (backwards) even in the 95th minute.

Stoke absolutely deserve the win. Sacrificed the first half with Armstrong as a lone striker. Back 3 doesn't work and never will. And we still don't know how to break down 10 men.

Ditch the fucking back 3!

It seems like every time we get a new manager, Armstrong is in their ear asking to play down the middle. A bit like the way Walcott always wanted play the striker role for Arsenal despite being much more effective out wide. Eventually Will Still will learn and he'll be back out wide or on the bench.

He's lethal at this level on the right side of a front 3 but completely ineffective down the middle.

Hate to say it but we're yet to see a good performance from a Will Still team. Get a bit of physicality and a focal point upfront and ditch the back 3.
