Mine get slung in a box after a year of bi-weekly appearances. I'm thinking of doing some weird photo thing on FB next year to see how many days' worth I can get out of wearing a different one every day. I reckon I must have at least 100 of the things, I've catalogued 53 Saints shirts alone (just checked the spreadsheet I created when I sold some stuff last year, dunno if I actually updated it though).

I believe mine was David Speedie. Or maybe not.

But not this, as a few people have already noted. There's quite a big gap between being a spamheaded hoolie wannabe and the sort of happy sappiness this award seems to be using as the criteria for "best fans".

Mine is showing last season's ST 2012/13, this forthcoming season's ST, the FA Cup ticket bought on my account last season, 3 debit card charges for away tickets (where I didn't buy the tickets) which aren't showing the cost of the ticket, and all of my away games where I *didn't* pay a Debit Card fee are showing the amounts in full. I was just amazed I could even log in.

Nice, but not strictly an impression... I can do "Rooby Doo", "Raggy" "HeeHEEheeheheheheee" and also the coup de grace, "Rooby Sracks", though I have to be pressed on it. Plus a "The Ranger Ain't Gonna Like It Yogi" from a contemporary of Doo's.

Agreed, I was hoping no-one would mention this. Thanks to our ridiculous white kit and me going to a lot of aways, I reckon I've worn the Saints home shirt at least 30 times this season, including a couple of 5-a-sides. So about once every 10 days then. Ooh, value, about a quid a wear and it's already in a box somewhere... My New England Revolution shirt from 1994(ish) is starting to look a bit worse for wear though. If I hadn't sold my entire collection in 1998 I'd have a few others to judge against...

Third kit now confirmed... away kit to follow. They'll be wearing one of them at St Mary's, anyway.

The last two were excellent efforts. Can someone do his laugh ?

I didn't think this season's Umbro shirt was particularly cheap - it looks cheaper because of the need to screen print the red on the white body of the shirt to allow the white/grey pinstripes but I've had no more problems than usual regarding the logo, the stitching, pulls on the material or the durability. They are decidedly worse quality than the last 4 England home shirts I've bought though, and agreed that the last striped shirt was a nicer material all over the shirt, and the sash was nice - though with the cotton-soft stuff they used on the last 3 England home shirts even the sash paled in comparison quality wise. I absolutely LOVE the last Umbro England shirt, the main body is soft and comfortable material and the sleeves are a lycra-type material which breathe and grip nicely without the whole shirt being skintight, it's excellent design. The adidas Team GB shirts I have are at LEAST as cheaply done as the 2012/13 red shirt, and are also screen printed on white which really does lower the quality effect. Of course if this years is red without pinstripes it might be better quality material which is actually red, not white printed red. As far as longevity goes, I have a LOT of old shirts and I've never had any problems with any of them other than sponsors fading, God knows what you lot are doing in them.

Answer the question.

Just wondering.
-
Succinctly put. Though I will kill over fantasy kits.

I don't have a problem with the mock ups, which are based on real information for purposes of illustrating something which might actually be a kit in the near future. Can't see why anyone would want to share something that has no reason for existing other than that they enjoyed creating it. By all means make them, just don't stick them out there as "this might be the new kit" when it clearly isn't. For me, the time for sharing that kind of stuff is when we have no information and anything could be possible (eg 6 months ago). When there's a pretty good chance it's a certain type of design, base it around those. This particular point spun out of the use of a template we definitely won't be using, which is vaguely relevant to the point.

Yeah but that's just the finishing position money, there's the tv facility fee as well.

This seems to be her, not that anyone could give a toss ?

Suffice to say they are being sensible in getting someone with legal knowledge into the post, as exploiting the grey areas still pervades all elements of the club.

No, he's Dulldaysing and saying "it doesn't matter" because he's decided it doesn't matter to him. It matters to me, and I will dump all over it if I so choose.

Fantasy kits generally are pointless, fantasy kits where they're attempting to make it look realistic despite having no basis in reality, and where they still fail due to general ignorance about the thing they're creating, are just irritating. "Let's use a 3 year old adidas template to see what the Southampton badge would look like on pink and yellow wallpaper". Why ?

Aha :http://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/article/martins-message-may-7-811614.aspx "Tommy Forecast will also be offered a deal as he has been given a free transfer by Southampton. Read more at http://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/article/martins-message-may-7-811614.aspx#OwjVUpcUJPLt5JBc.99 " Dated 7th May, though pretty sure we knew about it before that.

Can't actually find anything confirming it, won't take effect until July 1 so logical he won't have signed, but I'd be surprised if he sat around waiting for any other offers after that...
-
You have removed the one player that is likely to feature in order to make your point fit...
-
Forecast is not even out of contract, he signed a deal with Gillingham a couple of months ago. I don't think we'd have kept Bale if he hadn't come to us, do you ? We'll sell any of the 2014 players except Shaw, if they can agree terms. Expecting a fair few of them to have gone back to the Championship by January, maybe later for Barnard and Forte who probably won't come close to their current wages anywhere else at the moment.

So, the results are in for June 2013, after one season of a plain red kit : Stripes 64% Sash 14% Don't Mind 13% Plain colour 10% So it looks like our rumoured next kit will be the least popular choice, again. We can but hope for stripes. Note the quirky rounding error to 101%, pedants.
