  1. I am not 'blaming' the players, simply stating that they don't deserve an ounce of my respect. How are they being asked to 'fix someone elses mistake' ? I could be wrong but I thought it was them, the players who underperformed and served up that shower of sh!te all season? I thought it was them that got us relegated? Don't give it the 'not their fault' , on paper we should have had no problem staying up if each player had put the effort in and played like they can. Again, it's not ALL about the money, do you not think that maybe some of them should be getting involved in the different campaigns going? Or maybe one of them have the b*llocks to even come out and say sorry for last season? Infact ANYTHING from the players would be more than they are showing now.
  2. Let's also not forget that aviva employ almost 3000 staff in the chandlers ford, eastleigh area, who have continuously outgrown their offices and are now spread over half a dozen offices.... Far from ideal. I am sure they would see the stadium land as a perfect place to build their new hq to house all of their healthcare division.
  3. Remember The Valley, and how it was when Charlton went bust?
  4. Some fella called Houghton, either way, it's not an asset of Darlington FC, so cannot be sold.
  5. We would need a training ground as Staplewood would have been sold, and their is one there, which P*mpey are on their way out of anyway. Also, Southampton FC would, we won't cease to exist, we might be in the non-league, but Southampton FC Ltd can continue, it is Southampton FC Ltd that are registered with the F.A so it is my understanding that we would be able to continue. edit - just realised i made it sound we would play there, I meant tenants of the training ground.
  6. And that is the most worrying bit, Darlo's stadium is council owned ( i think ) and not a saleable asset, they have nothing to give the creditors if it was liquidated, yet bids are still being turned away!
  7. Nope, I think we won't go out of business, that's not to say I don't think we will go into liquidation. When we end up in liquidation or as the final administration straw, I believe that the following will happen. 1) Southampton FC Ltd will continue ( although I am not sure if we will be in League 1 or Blue Square South ( depending on administration or liquidation ) 2) Jacksons Farm, Staplewood, The Academy House and any other non-stadium assets will be sold to pay the players wages first, then other creditors after that. 3) All players would be able to give 14 days notice and leave if Blue Square South, with others electing to stay ( the rubbish ones ). 4) Southampton City Council ( or another investor ) would buy St Marys Stadium. 5) Southampton would move in as tenants of Stoneham Lane, currently occupied by P*mpey. That Morph, is how I see it as the last resort and worst case scenario.
  8. Still, there are at least 10 of the things! About 20k in advertising! Surely not for free?!?! Their 30 paid up members must be loaded, why have they not bid for Southampton?
  9. So, if Southampton FC Ltd continued, which I believe it could, then we would be relegated 3 divisions, so Blue Square South! Derbies with Eastleigh!!!!
  10. Morph I want you to have my babies. All IMHO of course. SRS
  11. When I rallied round to give Dodd a decent goodbye, I said at the time he would be the last person to give a toss about SFC, and although I didn't think it 100%, sadly it seems I was right. :-(
  12. I was wrong about the players, their value would be nil in liquidation. Jacksons Farm, St Marys, The Academy House and Staplewood would struggle to get to £8m, granted, but then again, nobody on here is qualified enough to put a real value on the 3 plots of land we own.
  13. Might as well get prepared for it, so here it is! http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/darlington/crisis/4352523.Club___s_nightmare_scenario/ Oh dear, doesn't make for good reading! :-(
  14. I'm wrong ( for the first time ever ), players could give 14 days notice of their intention to leave and walk away with nothing.
  15. Not as far as I am aware, they will still command a fee under league rules which would be settled by a tribunal. ( i may well be wrong )
  16. Acres of land in Marchwood, potential for housing, even as farming land it has a value. Player sales, even with our crop of sh!te, they would raise a few million. The stadium, as it is, is worth money, St Marys as a landpiece could be a goldmine in the future if that side of the Itchen is ever developed, even without, you could clean up the land and stick houses on when the marked picks up, and still make a tidy profit. Jacksons farm. The Academy House, probably worth over a million on its own if the mortgage is paid off. £8m is realistic to be able to raise from breaking up the assets.
  17. But the breakup value of the club could be potentially more than what the investors are offering? Isn't the figure of £8m of something being banded about to buy the club and clear debts?
  18. What is most unrealistic though.... the amount the creditors want from the investors? Or the amount the investors are trying to pick the club up for? Maybe the bank know how much the 'real' value of SFC is, taking into account all of the land etc, and don't want to be mugged off? Just playing devils advocate as I do so well, like!
  19. Still nothing on the OS, not rallying cries from the players, not even a postcard. I don't want their money put into the club, I would just like one or two of them to stand up and do SOMETHING to help. They have a massive influence on the whole campaign. How many more tickets would be sold if a group of them turned out for the daytime part of Saints Aid, even if it was just to pose for photo's and sign autographs for the kids? Why couldn't 10 of them played in two seperate Saints teams, 5 on each sides and the other postions auctioned off the chance to play with them at St Marys - Is 90 minutes of their time too much to ask? As I have said again and again, I don't expect them to put in their cash, I just expect something back, just something.... Sc*m, the lot of them. I have not even heard one of them put their hands up and say sorry for the complete tosh we were served up last season.
  20. Fair enough, but in any case, if the yes or no is a matter of a couple of million, then I am seriously worried about the financial clout of any of these investors... SFC is a bargain investment in the current situation, and paying a extra few million is not going to make a massive difference in the grand scheme of things.
  21. I looked into the advertising on them banners for a couple of projects I have, they were around the £1000 mark EACH lamp, and much more for the City Centre ones and traffic lights on West Quay Road! How did the Saints Trust get that sort of money from their 30 paid up membership fees?
  22. With respect, if I lent your company £30 million quid and you went into administration, then I would want as much of it back as possible. And if I knew I would get more if your business folded and assets sold, then so be it. 'Greedy' is hardly the right phrase. I would say they 'are trying to get as most of it back as possible'
  23. Would rather be in the Blue Square South to start with... Havant, Eastleigh and Basingstoke - Pwopppa nawty.
  24. I'm the ku nt ( who pretends to know everything )
