  1. £192 in 6 months raising, and only a short time to go, does this mean you are not going? Do the people that have donated get a refund?
  2. Of course it won't happen. The fickleness of our fans is one of the main reasons I scrapped the walkout. If we had started playing well in the first 5 minutes or even scored, then nobody would leave, which would have an opposite effect ( oh, and I would be a few hundred quid down ) I am going to join the fickle brigade next season, I am not renewing whatever division we are in and will only turn up when we are doing well. Away games are the way forward. Just finally, I still don't believe we will stay up or keep this run going.
  3. There should be another march, and there should be as many/if not more people on it. If it does not go ahead then all that happens is any further protests lack any credability, Lowe and Wilde will just be able to laugh them off to the press and say ' they'll forget all about it next week if we win ' The protests have to continue.
  4. It is simple. Only allow Full Members to view the main site. You don't need the adverts/banners then, which lessens the load and if people have not paid their fiver, they can't view the site. Of course I am saying this now as I have paid up. But seriously, it ain't rocket science is it?
  5. I meant my own section on here, I have not been on loyalsaints for aggggggggggges!
  6. True, but IOW set up on Sundays sound and stage for their final act, 2 years ago with the Rolling Stones they even set up their tour stage with the moving stage set.
  7. norwich union solutions policy. If you are in your 20's then about 50 quid a month for a good policy. Don't take 6 week options or excess, they are a rip off unless you are old. Head office is in chandlers ford so if you have any disiluted claims you can sort it out faceto face. Choose moratorium underwriting, there could be cover for the knee if it flares up in a couple of years. So 50 quid and norwich noon is the answer.
  8. How do you know? Do you know who they are? Did the victim ask them if they were Saints fans?
  9. Just so the Saints Trust don't think I have been just picking on them, I think it is a stupid idea. All you need is the club to employ a Customer Service representative. All that will happen with a 'Fans Parliament' is that any complaint you have will be fobbed off to your 'rep' who will pass on your complaint on your behalf. Basically a tool for the club to fob off anyone who has any beef with them so they don't have to deal with them directly.
  10. In English?
  11. It does seem a pain in the arse, I guess I have the luxury of being able to play in the name of the Luzborough House, with them funding it too. I hope this also means that as well as mates, we can rely on other punters as well....
  12. I have lots of mates who are Saints fans, who no longer go to the games as they can't be arsed / can't justify the cost, yet still come into town for a few beers pre and post-match.
  13. I thought this was a thread about Jamie Turner.
  14. I might let you play, depends on numbers, the quality has to be exceptional.
  15. I am a midfield playmaker, I prefer to let the ball do the work, kind of in the MLT role, just a bit fatter. P.S - Thanks for the help people, I shall look into it tonight.
  16. Hello! Next season I have agreed to set up a team for our local boozer. How do I go about this? We want to play on Sunday league mornings. I have not a clue where to start!
  17. I don't know why some of their fans are getting so narky. It is unfortunate that the lad is in a coma and I hope he pulls through, but there are several SEPERATE accounts of him ( or someone else wearing a pink shirt, doubt there is many ) acting like a complete c*ck in and around the ground, wanting to fight anyone and everything. Let's remember one thing, he was punched, not stabbed, not shot, not kicked in the head, he was 'tripped up'. The kick to his legs didn't cause the coma, smashing his head on the floor as he well did. It was not a ghastly and callous attack. It is pretty clear to see that he was gobbing off and being aggresive towards everyone, and pushed someone too far. It happens every day in pubs all over the land, fortunately accidents like his are rare.
  18. Oh, sympathy for his missus and baby to be who could be left without a dad when he comes into the world in two weeks.
  19. So it was just a Cardiff mong drunk, looking for a fight and thinking he can take on the world? Don't get me wrong, I hope he recovers, but no sympathy from here based on some of the accounts. No doubt this will be another jamie turneresque story where he is proclaimed as a war Hero and innocent family man. If you are prepared to put yourself in the mix then be prepared when it goes wrong. I am sure who smacked him didn't intend on putting him in a coma. I don't see any reactions to other stories of people getting punched. Same incident, different outcomes. Get well soon, bad luck, no sympathy.
  20. 2 seperate sources on the Cardiff forum and one in the Lounge, seems it is true. Just been on the Radio they are dealing with a 'major football related incident' .
  21. Anyone know anything? Some reports saying he is dead, some saying he is on a life support machine. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/fudforum/index.php?t=msg&th=133420&start=0&rid=0&S=829a3f02c5abf6f7561c2d79ecf41b84
  22. His kid?
  23. tbf U2 would be as good as Oasis, if not better. Been doing some research and they look a good bet!
  24. And it is easy to sound off the odd statement to the local press withought actually getting of their arses and doing anything. Oh wait.......
