  1. been out all day cannot believe this is an issue still, i just cannot remember a player on saints side being booed yesterday, the debate seems to be fuelled by those who watched it on Sky. People need to get real , i agree it should not happen , but the booing of players goes on all over the country, always has done, always will do. Football is part of an entertain industry , people pay to watch and they will express their displeasure for poor performance.
  2. Interesting that everyone seems to be happy with the single striker, probably would agree away but at home . not sure

    Killer!

Killer has aways been a footballing center half, today he was up against a guy who was taller and heavier than him, he appeared to struggle to win balls in the air and the flicks won by Blackpool caused us no end of problems.
  5. seems to be a split between those at the ground and those who watched on Sky

    The Ref

problem was he was very fussy over where free kicks were taken from, thus slowing up the game which played into Blackpools Hands BECAUSE they only played in both penalty areas and there game was built on set plays
  7. never heard any booing of the players, other than that direct at Hammill and the rest of the Blackpool side, not forgetting the Ref. Think it is being overstated to cover up the poor performance both on and off the pitch by our management team, they were out thought and out fought
  8. sums it up for me
  9. just disappear you muppet
  10. Who are worst the 15000 who turned up and spend the cash to keep the club a float, or the ones who stay away(for whatever reason) and pontificate.
  11. i paid the club over a thousand pounds in season tickets and am entitled to my opinion
  12. on what i saw at SMS today we will struggle Blackpool were quite happy with all our square passing , they knew that games are won/lost in the penalty areas and we were woeful in both.
  13. First game after illness, the cliches are to easy , men/boys, pretty football/effective football. Do enough to win? Without Davis it could have been a cricket score. The pace we have will be better of away from home, at home teams are going to drop off and then make it a game of strength in both penalty boxes. The thing that is forgotten is that Total Football as played in Jan's day was played by physically strong men. Some of the tactics today were strange, we brought on Stern John and then dropped McGoldrick back and Lallana even further back. One game does not make a season but i am now prepared for a relegation fight rather than a promotion push.
  14. First game for me due to health reasons, really looking forward to it.
  15. Guy Askham
  16. Pure Goal Scorer Steve Moran Ted MacDougall George O'Brien Tony Funnell all were crap outside the box but inside lethal
  17. Interesting , i suppose we could have a poll Lowe v Hitler or Lowe v Redcrap Rupert becomes a winner
  18. certain posters believe the club did not exist until the reverse takeover
  19. typical skates playing a side we played some 30 years ago , always in saints footsteps
  20. i wonder if they know that the majority of the crowd used to stand up to watch a game, getting into the ground 2 hours before kick off. must be a lie
  21. agreed but you will incur the time polices displeasure because events pre 1997 do not exist in the brave new world
  22. suppose it depends on how skint we are now, after all last official figures covered a period a few months back now
  23. SO the club dies with Rupert because no one else in the whole world could do such a great job
  24. hope they do not bring that DRUM
