Could not put it better
-
if the results continue in the current vein we are going to be very near the top of the table
-
Could be a good shout

Most have expressed my views but having thought on it for 24 hours, i agree with Stanthemanfairoak Guly has to be left out away from home and Hammond/Chaplow start to give us extra defensive bite. If not Guly then Connolly. After saying that I enjoyed the evening although still think the best thing about Wales is Severn Bridge heading East

SO 12000, less 500 who paid £9.50, say 400 Peterboro, less season ticket holders. Cash intake last night = not enough to pay floodlight bill( sorry forgot they do not pay bills)

Leaving about 3.30 tomorrow , nice drive down M4.

Expansion of The Dell. Was it ever possible??
70's Mike replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
Send that idea to Fratton I am sure they will go with it -
Personally i do not think the OP is true but Ex Saints teams playing for Charity have been around a lot longer than the Saints Foundation
-
Agree with that Wes although some have moaned about the attendances, however my fear is what happens if we have a bad run.As we all know football fans are fickle and we do not need a split between club legends and owners to fuel discontent.

Cortese kisses and makes up with the Sun
70's Mike replied to Golac's Iron Gonads's topic in The Saints
this then the thread could be Cortese kisses and makes up with MLT AND LM -
no would depend on who are last 3 games were against
-
nearly 15000 today , coffers must be bulging
-
played 4 home and 4 away and top of the table. i will settle for that
-
i honestly thought this was done and dusted, both MLT/LM have been to recent home games and whilst i understand NC was answering a question from a journalist, i feel his answer lacked tack and the hand of reconciliation. As we all know football is a games of ups and downs and, yes he saved the club with Markus, but a bad run and the fans will turn on him because we are fickle so reigniting bad feeling could back fire on him. A poll of the 22000 home fans imo would put MLT and LM ahead of NC in the legend status.
-
just re read article cannot see why we could not say had an issue with freebies which has not been resolved, and that he was aware MLT/LM were now paying
-
thought the issue was dead, MLT/LM have been buying tickets not sure why NC brought this up again, I think everyone knows he is in charge he had no need to drag this up again.

Exactly, MLT has been buying tickets, he was at the Birmingham game.LM regularly is in Leon's box. -
really simple question, but as someone else said, very difficult to answer. I loved turning over the big boys in the late 60's and 70's , we then became a big boy for the early 80's , struggled most of the time in the 90's. until Marcus came along the club and football was sh*t between 2003 and 2009.Last 2 years we have probably won more games than any other 2 year period since i started watching in 61. I hate the corporate nature of the premiership and the type of Saints "fans" it will attract but for the sake of my two sons(23 and 16) i want to be back in the top flight, turning over the big boys again

NO not really in our best 20 players
-
may work at Fratton with the law abiding Saints fans, but in the reverse fixture skates come by car and train not coach.Although short of shutting the Eastern Road in both directions when the coaches arrive and depart, something which was NOT done last time or likely now because the skates who have ventured off Portsea island to live will have to come in via M275 or Copnor Road.

glory hunters and saints fans two words you rarely see together

A fan in the board? Who was the front runner???
70's Mike replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
A fan from the masses on the board was just an urban myth and had no real substance, but as Duncan said, we have always had them shame Alan Woodford died -
sums up football all over the world look at the 50million on Southsea common where are they now
