I'm with you. Not sure I fully understand why so many players are/were played out of position, but Fraser is a left winger.
-
We get smashed 5-0 and it could have been more, but typically a lot of the posts are about Baz. Compared to Holgate, he had a great game. The focus imo should be on the tactics and whether playing this way will pay off in the long run. It was painful to watch today and spending all that effort just to get the ball between their strikers and midfield simply does not look worth it.
-
Not sure why Baz is being made the fall guy. The performance of the outfield players, shape and tactics were the issue.
-
fucking shit pass Alcaraz...who perhaps had no one to pass to...and then non existent marking. Sums up the performance. We don't seem to know what we are doing and our shape makes defending more difficult than it should be.
-
they could have easily scored there...and there....
-
he ain't a right winger. Why is he playing there? He is having to track players back to our own byeline. He doesn't strike me as a player that does that naturally.
-
all the championship keepers make these errors, but we only care about our own one.
-
In his last season there he was really poor. He made exactly the same errors McCarthy was chastised for. Near posts goals, poor decision, handling errors...
-
Leicester got rid of him for a reason.
-
what difference does it make who does the coin toss and wears the armband? The coach basically captains the side these days.
-
Fourth goal comes from fullback being overload down our right hand side. Mara can't get back to help out. They could easily have scored from first chance, he should have buried it. Decent enough save but Holgate fucks the clearance. I was in the middle of typing about how uncomfortable he looked with the ball. He's not having a good day at all.
-
It was a decent parry away from the danger area.

First game I've watched. Sorry. Bloody hell. It's so slow and predictable going forward.
-
How good the window has been will be borne out in the coming months and years, but for now, isn't it nice to feel positive after what seems like a long period of utter misery? Great to get a reboot. Have a good evening folks.

did Onuachu depart?
-
...and the battle of waterloo of course.
-
every time I hear his voice I say a little thankyou to Robert Adler.
-
he doesn't want to be here. We don't want him stinking out the place. that's the point. Easier to get a loan deal done. We can't sell if no one buys.
-
allows him to get out of town, but doesn't stop him getting his move to Bayern or Dortmund down the line. I am guessing the loan fee would be closer to €3.5m than the €6.8m Sky Germany were suggesting was part of the Dortmund move.
-
one to follow over the next couple of years.
-
unless we actually still want €8m for the loan, plus an obligation to buy, as was also mentioned.
-
Can't hurt. Funny how Genk didn't put him forward when we were looking for a player to swap Onuachu for.
-
wonder if there is any obligation to buy. I am sure we are very keen to get him, Sulemana and Onuachu out the door no matter what.
-
For the season or until January?

I think he tend to report the transfer news, not all the `he said, she said, left leg in, left leg out' bollocks.
