Sure, but the clubs have been talking for about a month now. I'm guessing it's done and dusted all bar the shouting. We will see.
-
Bloody hell. The stuff being written these days is moronic. As if they just let them know they could go.
-
doesn't the deal have to be done by 12pm? Also, I can't see him playing without having trained with the first team. Never sure why. Just play strikers. They will work it out pretty quickly what is needed. Too much emphasis on position without the ball etc.
-
I'm guessing we are just dotting the i's and crossing the t's on that deal. We aren't having `talks' at this stage. Another that will be gone today.
-
Leeds want £50m (possibly). I suspect he's the one they want, but how much will they be willing to come down in price, as Everton aren't paying that. Sulemena the backstop option. The all in move to the backstop option will have started by now you'd think.
-
Everton have obviously been waiting for their own player sales to be confirmed so they can offer what we want. Has Iwobi and Gray deals gone through yet? He will be gone today.
-
His mind was made up long ago. SFC haven't changed their mind on deadline day as to whether they will keep him or not. His agent has been touting him around and all SFC can do is wait for a suitable bid to come in.
-
He'll be gone by the end of the day.
-
If Arsenal or Spurs actually come on for him, with a sizeable bid, his happiness at Southampton will be instantly forgotten. Not a chance he turns down a decent Prem move. It's only our asking price that is keeping him here.
-
He dislocated his shoulder a couple of times, jarred his knee and pulled his hamstring. The idea that he's a quitter when it gets tough is just bollocks put out there by Doswell, angry about our performance against Forest at SMS.
-
I agree. Johnson will be coming to play, not sit behind KWP. KWP was linked to Newcastle, Fulham and Arsenal. It would be no surprise if he departed today. The surprise to me is it hasn't happened before. I would suggest it's because we have said the price is £30m and thus any enquiries have been swift. Teams will have waited to see if they can get a deal. Hope they don't.
-
hope it's not a tall story.
-
Never seen him play. You guys seem to love him, so I'll take your word for it that he's great and look forward to seeing him tighten us up at the back. It's a long season, so having four `solid' center backs will come in very handy no doubt. Stephens injury being a perfect example.

When I read a report that a club is out, prior to the window closing, I usually just ignore it. It's probably just the normal ebb and flow of a negotiation.
-
Strange that Sky Germany reported Dortmund had offered a €6.8m loan fee. Then someone reported we wanted €8m and now it's tumbled to €3.5m. There is some bollocks being written on this deal.
-
if they haven't gone by now they won't be going, right?
-
If Alcaraz isn't cutting the mustard in the hole (attacking midfield), that's where you could play Aribo perhaps.
-
It was predictable...and dare I say it, predicated. All of em will go.
-
When walking football becomes a professional sport, I am sure we start to get enquiries for him.
-
possibly, but if they know they ain't moving until we do replacement deals, then life goes on, including attending training. Despote all the departures, its still a hell of a lot of talent to retain if they don't get moves tomorrow. I assume they will get the chance to fight for a place and play, even Sulemana.
-
Difficult to know what has been agreed at this point in time. Some of KWP, ABK, Onuachu, Che, Mara and Sulemena moves might be all signed and sealed, but just waiting for us to complete replacement deals. We shall see.
-
Duk, Stewart, Paintsil, Luca Kerber and Johan Hove maybe? He's not had that long considering season only started a couple of weeks ago.
-
it's been bloody great. The transfer talk is half the soap opera.
-
The Dortmund offer reported by Sky Germany seemed to be a loan €6.8m but with an obligation to buy for €17.2m+€4m add ons - so basically €24m+€4. So, in all intents and purposes, an eight figure fee. Aren't we looking like we might have to pay an eight-figure fee for Stewart?
