    Ex-Smokers

Long term smoker that fancied giving up, but never had enough desire to do so, so patches weren't an option. I was really ill with a sore throat/cold one Xmas and couldn't face a fag for a few days so took the opportunity to give up. I went to Makro and bought a huge box of lollys. These became my fag substitute. Worked a treat although it has taken years to get that desire out of your head. Even now I still fancy one but its much much easier to have a word with yourself. Best of luck.
  2. Alex open at 10.
  3. There is not a chance that a single skate ticket will have been posted. Every single ticket will be handed out on coaches half way down the M27 as it was for us. No coach ticket, no match ticket, no match ticket, no entry. Anyone travelling down by train will be watched and section 60'd if they are acting suspiciously. Usual hot air.
  4. big loss to the skates, he was their best player against us. Check out the results after he went back to WBA, they struggled big time without him. Very good news. TBH has been OK for them as well apparently, despite looking utter dog **** whenever I've seen him. FOP
  5. I'd like to add Victor Moses to my list. At the top level you need just that little extra bit of pace and quality and he seems to have both.
  6. will I be banned from the ground and given a £1000 fine for coming onto the playing area?
  7. maybe wish them luck, but not good luck
  8. We need to add some genuine pace out wide. I'd also look to recruit from the championship. Muxch smaller wages then Premiership rejects. A new keeper to push Kelvin. Jack Butland or Craig Gordon from Sunderland perhaps. Some pace at fullback wouldn't go amiss. Clyne looked comfortable if not outstanding. Liam Rosenior looked handy. Some extra quality in midfield. Jordan Mutch from Brum is outstanding. Also like Mikele Leigertwood who was top notch against us. Phillips and Wilfrid Zaha are the two best attacking players I've seen in the championship. I'm all for sticking with the squad that got us up, but real quality signings can take you to another level as has been seen at Newcastle. Top notch strikers especially. I'd also like to see us return to the pass it out at all costs football we started off the season playing. We are miles from that now and we are no longer like Swansea. After their success that should encourage us to follow that path.
  9. "...literally hundreds have paid their £100 deposits." That £8m looks a long way off.

  11. nope. Like you it was just from memory of us being in the Championship last time. perhaps the rule has changed. I'll check.
  12. did you feel robbed that it wasn't 365? I think I would have.
  13. whenever I have joined a new online betting website and you get a nice juicy free £50 bet or whatever I always go for women's volleyball and bet on some massive odds on cert. The chances of an upset seem slight to me as that game is all about the quality and very little about luck. The return is small, but its still a return. If that doesn't float your boat then £5 Lambert first goal scorer seems to do the trick every time my brother in law comes to watch Saints. Never seems to work for me though so I've left that bet alone. No need to to thank me.
  14. I believe you are allowed as many deals as you like, but only the first four can exclude away fans.
  15. Their supporters trust were quoted on BBC Solent this morning as saying they needed about £8m rather than £5m to buy the club.
  16. How many offers is that? I count at least 5 yet away fans still have to pay full price. One price for home another for away. Not on.
  17. wonder if Forest fans were consoling themselves with possibility after their play off defeat last season?
  18. I feel sick just thinking about losing 1-4 to the skates. Please refrain for putting the possibility into my mind.
  19. skates have sold 2984 of their 3200 allocation, last selling day is today, so 200 more could be available.
  20. I feel no connection with the Titanic tragedy whatsoever. If the club have a minutes silence then I will of course respect it, but I'm not sure I would understand why I am doing it. If I want to learn about the event further or offer a period of reflection I'll do it when I visit the museum.
  21. can you describe what you mean when you say class player? Genuine question.
  22. He's very slow. But he does come alive when a chance falls to him.
  23. they just played him all the time and he did what he has done for us, very little in the build up, very little in terms of threat, he just got in the box and waited for chance to come his way and he took some of them. Nothing more, nothing less. He will score goals for us too, not loads, but he will score simply because if you play strikers long enough, create chances for them and ask him to get in the box (which he does), goals will come. He'll grab the winner on Saturday.
  24. you can score and play badly
  25. he scored 53 minutes into his debut at Huddersfield and was first class immediately in that season for us. Had a terrible first half of the second season though.
