  1. do we? How does anyone know until we see the end of year accounts?
  2. isn't the basic model about the same price as a season ticket? Hmm. Do you get the whole iPad up front or does it come in 23 bits?
  3. he's only 23 though so we'd have to pay a tribunal fee. Good spot though and a good chance its true. Hope so as he's one of the 5 players I picked on the earlier thread to complete my `title winning squad'.
  4. the £3 booking fee ****es me off and as a non Southampton resident that goes to most away games this will be (if it applies to away games) just another £60 odd quid to add to my costs. Peanuts compared with my petrol costs, but nevertheless another cost.
  5. Maybe these installemnt plan failures were deemed normal by the ticket office staff as they have gone on for y ears. Cortese may have only just been made aware of it and he then immediately changed the policy which involved changes to renewal forms etc that all would slow down the ST price information release date.
  6. If it was clearly explaiend that some fans (100) had abused the installment plan process then genuine fans would understand, or at least understand better than they do at this point with zero explanation. My guess is that the delay in ST prices was down this information being made available to Cortese at a late point and then an investigation into a proposed credit card swipe system will hjabve taken place which would stop this practice of defaulting and then still trying to enter the ground. The swipe system perhaps was found to be too expensive or would take too long to fit so they went for the other option of cancelling payment plans/direct debit scheme.
  7. but its a direct debit payment plan. There is no unsecured loan as such. The club hasn't given the fan a sum of money that the fan then pays off. The club merely gives the fan a worthless peice of paper, which if it was sent out on a weekly basis would prevent any defaulting.
  8. Lines signed a new deal. Not the sort of thing you do if a bigger club have indicated that they intend to sign you. He would have been available on a free and now a fee would be required. That fee could have been added to his weekly wage. I very much doubt Lines is coming here.
  9. How do you know this?
  10. simple obvious solution. Increases the admin required though.
  11. no staged payments=less ST sales=more individual sales=more admin=higher admin costs= admin fees?
  12. spot on. If you aheva ST then things are arranged around football. If you don't then you just fit football in between.
  13. A £3 booking fee for online purchases is an embaressing fan rip off IMO.
  14. the removal of the installemert option quite clearly is as a result of fans not paying, but still going to games/ not returning ticket to SFC. In terms of giving a warning of this policy change, perhaps this information has only been presented to Cortese fairly recently, therefor a late decision may have been made thereby not offering the possibility of giving an advanced warning. Perhaps this was the reason for the delay as letters/forms etc. had to be reprinted to remove this option? All guesswork on my part.
  15. spot on. The whole idea is that you don't need to pay for staff manning phones. SFC rip off. Just a way of disguising a higher ticket price.
  16. not especially happy with the price rise, but kind of expected it. With a title chasing side crowds would haev been biger this coming season so increased revenue anyway. Mind you, who knows what our inco ings and outgoings are. Not happy about this £3 booking fee either. I seem to recall that SFC has the highest percentage of fans from outside the local area, so a large number of people are going to be faced with paying £3 extra for games as they can't possibly get to the ground to buy tickets. Even season ticket holders will face this when it coems to cup games etc. Online sales should be free of a booking fee. Total rip off.
  17. because they want the player and if they wait too long another club may get them instead.
  18. add MK Dons away to that list, a game in which he was nigh on perfect. Anyone that thinks it would be easy to find an as good replacement, even with the £2.5m, is kidding themselves. There are very few players of Morgans quality in this league and we have two of them in the squad already. There maybe better players out there but how many if any are willing to drop a division? Centre midfield is critical and if he goes it will leave a gaping hole in our midfield.

Stephen Dawson is ideal for that centre midfield role.
  20. they're quite clearly waiting for us to win the world cup and then will trade on that unbelievable feel good factor. Obvious. Go and enjoy the summer people, if they only go on sale a week before the season starts that is fine by me.
  21. more breakbeat than indie dance.
  22. he won't go for a million that's for sure. He's worth a lot more than that IMO.
  23. nothing, but in both their cases HMRC might be better off liquidating the company. In the skates case they have no assets so 20p in the pound is better than nothing.
  24. I thought the riole of the administrator was purely to maximise return for creditor and to make decisions affecting this. With AA now openly discussing such things as future managers with regional newspapers such as the Nottingham post is he effectively auditioning for the permanent role of PFC chairman?
