I'd take Lita ahead of Lupoli every time. He has the pace and strength we desperately need. Shame his wages are beyond us.

Jamie Ward (22) is available on a free in the summer from Chesterfield. 16 goals this season and a 1 in 2 record. Barnsley have just bid for him. -
won't most loans from Prem to CCC take place once the transfer window closes?
-
a loanee that played like ****, was dropped and sent home early. What did you expect Pekhart to say: "I didn't play very well in the few chances I got, so they dropped me to the reserves where I played poorly. They obviously realised Patterson was better than me so they sent me home."
-
with Lee signed I'd of thought Skacel's move would have gone through as well if anything had been lined up. Perhaps he is here to stay.

where do you get your figures from? The BBC article today http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/7811509.stm says £27.5m including the stadium mortgage.

Perry had a decent game, but I'm talking about the entire season. However even yesterday we dropped too deep as we lack pace at the back and of course Manure have pace to burn. who made the press experts anyway?
-
he has the pace, yet to find out if he has any composure in front of goal. Is he a winger rather than a striker?
-
James, slow, terrible in the air Perry, slow, drops too deep to make up for his lack of pace keeping all and sundry onside. Lancashire, lightweight in the air, ballwatches, erratic Skacel, slow, lazy, doesn't cover round and switches off that is why we are second bottom.
-
You are quite right. Stinking cold is clouding my memory. I still do not understand why we are not starting with BWP up front.
-
he doesn't look fit/sharp/mobile to me. His body language sucks and even his passing was poor yesterday.
-
McGoldrick is the only striker on the books available isn't he?
-
no arguement with that but again I ask why sign Molyneux? Are we selling Skacel, playing him further forward or have we spent money on cover (we have Mills already) when what we need is first teamers.
-
fair enough, I guess we didn't have any other defenders to sit on the bench. Are we paying Pulis yet?
-
if we didn't want another youngster at the back then why sign him? Let me just add that I have no problem with signng a left back, no problem signng a youngster, but what I do have a problem with is signing players only for them to not go straight into the first team. Signing squad players won't get us out of trouble.
-
I understood that he has been training here for weeks.
-
but he was on the bench yesterday?
-
JP has been quoted along the lines of we are only looking to bring in players on loan that are better than we already have. Are we then happy to sign/buy players that are NOT better than we already have? I mean why sign Molyneux if we are not going to play him? We already had cover for Rudi in Surman and Mills, why then sign Lee and then sit him on the bench against Man U? Is this going to be another Forecast-style signing where we buy a player before his predecessor has gone out the door?
-
he played poorly, but like all strikers they need a good long run in the side to find their feet.
-
We started 4-4-2 but Gillett was so poor its not true, miscontrolled almost every single time. If you don't compete in in the middle you have no chance. Only when we flooded the midfield moving to 4-3-3 did we even look like being capable of competing. Sadly that forced Patterson to play in a wide left position where he struggled to see the ball before being sent off. The big fears about CB were realised as Lancashire wasn't far behind Gillett. All round we were second best, we will need to improve greatly to have any chance. I have to praise James though. I have been his biggest critic and his was excellent today. Great first touch, poise and he gave it all against Nani. David 7 - some poor kicking, some decent saves. James 8 - best game in a Saints shirt Lancashire 3 - ball watching clueless Perry 6 - usual solid stuff Skacel 6 - marking two at times. Surman 6 - tried hard but not enough. Gilett 0 - terrible game Gobern 2 - did next to nothing Smith 3 - one decent run, comes inside too much Patterson 0 - did nothing and a poor tackle McGoldrick 4 - worked hard but went nowhere the subs did nothing much.

quality player, someone I have seen several times and rate highly. Not sure his club will be letting him leave for peanuts though. Andy Bishop is another. -

I disagree with that, he was certainly better at CM, but one bad mistake against Derby seems to have wiped otu some decent displays earlier in the season. I'd take him ahead of Pearce, Perry and Lancashire.
