"This is, however, still dependent on restructuring the player cost base, which is a condition of both the existing offers"
From statement on portsmouth site..Cart before the horse comes to mind.
Today was the easy part. Convincing the players to write off the millions they are owed is the hard part. Birch has had months & months to do this with little success what is going to change in the next month or so?
It's not a case of signing someone worse but signing someone who is willing to fit into the squad mentality and accept the Kelvin will probably get his chance first.
"In a port city where football is for many people more than just a splash of color in a hard struggle for existence."
reads like a movie strapline. Great to see us getting some international coverage. I assume we'll be back in Switzerland for pre-season.
I'm expecting to pay around £700 (Itchen Center) It will be interesting to see if the whole of the Chapel is retained as the Family Stand. I suspect the Family area will revert back to the Chapel/Kingsland corner (approx 2000 seats I think) Will they change the rules on concessions? They could make the center seats full price only for example. They could make the Northam adult only. I sure they will be looking at ways of maximising income whilst still offering discounts in limited areas.
Set yourself up with an on-line account with one of the leading bookmakers. They all offer a full range of bets on every match. You can bet from your pc, ipad phone etc.
A lot easier in my opinion.
