SNOWY

Such sad news. Condolences to the Chaplow family.

Van Persie was class. I thought that Samba did a great job marking RL.

Very sad news. RIP Kevin.

Our win at Brighton. We were under serious pressure with Huddersfield on our tail & they were desperate to beat us.

I prefer honesty rather than the patronising BS most players come out with. It will upset some though.

Great pictures, keep em coming. What a great day.

When is he 18? Until he signs on the dotted line there is still a danger he could walk. I'm sure that Luke is a level headed lad it's the parents that worry me.

Great find. Happy days.

The board is made up of Cortese nuthuggers or Cortese haters; There is no middle ground.

Billy Sharp

No reason why Lambert can't play at this level for another 4 years at least. He's the new Teddy Sheringham. It's the pacey players that struggle to last.

They weren't just worn by scarfers either.I think it started with the Chelsea/Rangers love in at the time?

Who remembers the "half Rangers or Celtic" phase in the 80's.

Very sad. RIP Kevin

Shaw must be in the U21's as he is not in the U19's.

Is he the messiah?

Lawrie is the best manager we have ever had. Our best performance in each competition we have entered was achieved with Lawrie as manager.

"In Spain, Southampton are well known for their past connections with Spanish football. Both Club Athletic de Bilbao and Atlético de Madrid adopted the famous red and white stripes after they couldn’t find any Blackburn Rovers tops in 1911." Hadn't heard this before.

Good luck El Capitano.

From nasty Nic to cuddly Ken

Great news. Well deserved.

17 points from our last 12 games. The only reason we are anywhere near the bottom three is our understandably poor start. Definate grounds for optimism I would say.

http://www.thenational.ae/sport/football/javier-aguirre-has-revived-espanyol Worth a read. Finished 14th with 8th highest wage bill in La Liga.

His record suggests that after a decent start at Espanyol the team steadily declined resulting in a parting of the ways in November. Espanyol have improved considerably under their new manager which would suggest that he was part of the problem. Adkins achieved 17 points from our last 12 matches, an excellent progression after a difficult start..But not good enough for Cortese. It would be useful if Cortese could let us all know what his expectations are for the remainder of the season so that we can reasonably judge MP's performance. What is the "next level"? Good luck to MP, he is going to need it working for Cortese & Reed.

His best performace in my opinion
