where did i say that was bad? I said I liked him last season. Clearly though he is not in the same form now in the NPC, so why on earth would he be the answer for us. Sharp did brilliantly last season, but 9 of his goals were for us (i.e. a top performing, attacking, promotion winning team) If the recipe for a Premier League striker was simply based on goals scored in the NPC, then the top 3 scorers would move to Premier League every season. Ross McCormack got 18 so why has no one has bought him?

Would rather have Stuart Gray. Watched his goal away at Man U in 1992 cup game recently, with that alone he gave more to this club than Saggy ever did

J Rod any day of the week over Sharp thanks. Much better prospect as the long term solution in the Prem Liked Sharp last season, grafter and finisher but must be going through a serious rough patch in the NPC right now, so never the answer for us. How many would Sharp have got playing out on the wing?

Thought had a much better game. Cut back for Rickie was quality. Ran clear of the defence to latch onto a pass from the centre circle (Puncheon?) which was cut out by a last ditch Fulham foot. Looked more lively and more at home in his natural position, just need to give him a few games there. Ramirez will find him Surprised no one else is commenting on SRL seeming to not jump for headers. Saw this at least 3 times and could not understand it

I have been to more games but agree. Jose has improved every game. Either him or S Davis for capt and take some of the burden off of AL

I thought Lambert was surprisingly lacklustre when challenging for headers today. IMO in he often seemed hardly to jump, whoever he was up against. No idea why but stood out for me, given his normal dominance in the air. And I don't just mean Hangeland beat him, Lambert failed to compete properly?

Sorry but Jay looked good today, much more at home in his natural position. The pass he laid back for Lambert first half, which was side footed wide instead of driven home, was quality. His touch, movement and harrying were of someone very at home in that position. Lambert was the poorer today, sadly.
