Koeman just killed this one in the Presser. If anyone was unsure.
-
He means great stamina no doubt

Suits me if someone knows a good place. I should be arriving in centre of town by 5.30ish

I am "flying solo" again for a midweek match so where are we converging for beers pre match?
-
Now you've really done it

TBF, from a quick look at that thread last night, we are not just ahead of them in the table. While they have a few morons, we definitely have more this season

So Women's football has very sensible ticket pricing then. Not only is that ok, it is refreshing, particularly given the recent flapping about (men's) football ticket costs generally. I paid £10 to get into Maidenhead Utd, who are in the Conference South, last season. Not worth it at all

In his defence, Reading have been through a torrid time in the last two years, in terms of ownership and investment. From what was a well run, stable club thanks to Madjeski, it has been passed around a bit with promised funds not being delivered, new owners (or part owners) moving on, and consequently player sales being needed. The Championship is still the most competitive league by a mile, with something like six different teams at the top in the last 8 weeks, so I would not bet on any team not to go up or down at this stage.

So, has anyone else decided to make the trip for this?
-
Same here. This could well be his next appearance and if it is, I have every confidence

Great to see you there! I was about 30 rows behind you but spotted you, and the giant flag, before kick off! Fantastic effort for you to come across and so glad that you picked the right game
-
This. Not even on sale yet, game is 6 weeks away. Chill people
-
Mail spots we are pretty good? Better late than never I suppose, but meh all the same
-
Nick thanks for doing this, this is very interesting. I need to sit down with a cold drink to properly consider this, while examining the fixture list after Jan 1st (so I dread to think what you went through to draw this up )

Cork and Wanyama have been swapping around already this season, including during matches with Morgan unlikely to be subbed and Davis usually the same (up to this weekend) so I would say why not? As most others have said already , this will be a pretty physical battle on Sat, and whatever changes Stoke make next week, it is a reasonable assumption that their style of play is the same throughout the club, so next Weds will be tough too. Gardos showed himself to be a more than useful alternative at the Emirates. Mane and Long are both first team players so why would we not rotate a few, where we can, for 2 tough games in a week.
-
Whoever starts on Sat, the other will start next Weds. Same probably goes for Mane / Long. Assuming we line up as we did against Arsenal, Gardos and Targett will also play in the Cup, neither of which is a bad thing. Hopefully Targett will have just signed his new 5 year deal by then

Great summary -
No reason at all we cant go out and win both. I am sure that this is the mindset RK has set in the team already - win every game and dont settle for anything less
-
Probably agree but worth remembering that Sunderland beat Stoke recently.
-
Already feeling slightly unsettled by the media repeatedly loving and praising us, even more than last season.
-
This. Made better by watching it in a pub with a hundred shirt wearing plastic Liverpool fans
