Saints 8 (Eight) Sunderland 0 - Match and Reactions

They were in the front row of my Block, in their Feyenoord shirts, carrying a giant Italian flag with Pelle across it. Seemed to love the whole game but obviously got quite excited when you-know-who scored -
Tadic most unselfish Saints player ever?

Top quality player. Amazed no CL clubs spotted him, probably they only consider people equally good with both feet maybe, muppets -

Great news. Villa supporting mate has been telling me that he cant believe just how much better a player SD has developed into. Top man -
Spot on and nail on the head as to why most clubs can fleece most of their fans. Unlike any other business we cant go anywhere else and the decision to quit completely is extremely hard, such that fans sacrifice many other things first.

CONFIRMED: Rodriguez ruptures ACL - out for SIX months

Indeed but he has to contend with the Arsenal medical / recovery people -
Agree with the above. Advantages of coach obviously are it gets you there and back without thinking or planning much. Downside is they take forever, leaving hours for any traffic contingencies etc. Tend to be used by families or older folk, not wholly of course, but much less used by people wanting beers before or after. Cheers

Or, here's a thought, dont have strikers that cost you £300k per week each. Rooney got 17 last season. Is that worth it? Sturridge got 22. Rickie got 13. Etc etc. You can get value without paying top dollar.
-
Agreed, Test cricket is one clear example where the price has shot up in the last 3 years. But watch the Ashes tickets sell out for next year, even though they will be £80-£100 in London. Dont even get me started on hours lost to rain / light etc etc.

I have some sympathy with you but thats a massive generalisation.

League Cup games are sensibly priced thankfully. Clubs know that without realistic prices, many people will not bother. If only that were case with league matches..
-
Dont kid yourself about how wonderful Barca are overall though. Tickets to the top games are so hard to get hold of and most that are available are priced at above £120. And they sell visiting fans their team's away shirts in the Barca shop too...
-
No surprise, but these tickets are now on general sale so no STH info needed. Oh and relevant with the debate about ticket prices today, its £15 for adults and you can bet we will put out 9/10 first teamers

I am not sure they would be happy with anyone reffing - it is always their fault when they dont win
-
I hope so, I agree that 1,000 will look lost but I also think it would be slightly poor. 1,500 minimum please - I have gone to some trouble to arrange work meetings in Manchester and Stoke just for this

All the reports are that UEFA have finally woken up to the fact that the CL obsession is killing the Europa league (UEFA Cup and Cup Winners, as were). About time too. This is what would happen to the EPL if we start messing with it any further. Allow the "top" teams to do something different, sod the consequences for all the others. Just give them some token imaginary incentive like: "Its great news, really, it is, we are relaunching the EPL and calling it the English Super League. We will let 8 Championship teams in to make up for Utd, Chelsea and the rest, and so if you still remain in it, well, now you have a real chance to win! Its amazing OK!!" Bugger off

Last weekend I used http://streamsp.com/ This is a Singapore TV channel, with English commentators and English pundits at half time. HD quality picture, free, no freezing and only a couple of very minor Ads. What I dont know is whether our game was just on because it was an unusual kick off time / day, so question whether we will always be on at 3pm Sat
