  1. Ryan Manning starting a Premier League game at the Etihad. Just wow.
  2. Totally. His first game for us was away to West Brom and he was absolute class that day. Other than maybe one or two wobbly appearances in his very early days (Man United at home), he was pretty much the finished article.
  3. I have to admit, my memory is a little sketchy from back then. According to Wikipedia though, he ended up going to Colchester the following season and Sheffield Wednesday after that (who I think were both also League 1 at the time). I guess my reasoning is that, Wembley aside, he didn’t really have a stellar spell with us. I wasn’t devastated when he left, and didn’t see him becoming a successful Premier League player (which I feel he became at West Ham).
  4. Ahhh I didn’t know that, thanks.
  5. Michail Antonio is one for me. I know he was only a loan, but we surely could have signed him. Went on to become a solid Premier League player.
  6. Have they? You know Roswell never really happened, right?
  7. Poor, misunderstood, Lyanco. The world just wasn't ready for him...
  8. Still raging about that disallowed goal. 😐
  9. Yup, Mike Dean in the 9-0, no question. He went out of his way, and beyond, to punish us for no reason whatsoever. Absolute thunder-c@nt.
  10. Maybe in the next few years the league table will be redesigned to capture more than just points won. They simply must start to include possession, completed passes, turnovers, high presses etc. If we could pick up just a few more points in the process we could become the dominant force in English football. Viva RussBall!
  11. Agreed, I still get angry every time I think about that game. Yesterday, and the shocking decision against us for the non-penalty, triggered those memories.
  12. I see a lot of people suggesting that we might "beat" Derby's record low points tally of 11. I wonder what the chances are of us doing it, but Wolves doing even worse? I guess it will ultimately come down to the head-to-heads though, if either do the double then the other could be in major trouble!
  13. Wasn’t this like the 4th time in a row we’ve had a player sent off against them at home?
  14. What a fucking disgrace, yet again. Knew when we went 2-0 up that we’d probably still lose, how fucking depressing is that. Fuck off.
  15. I see Potter as the Ramsdale of manager options. He's pretty high profile, who would seem a bit of coup, but definitely a possibility (albeit not necessarily going to come in and fix everything overnight).
  16. Jack Stephens - A Temu John Stones
  17. So we're fucked right?
  18. Dig your heels in man for no reason other than supporting Saints is a much better reflection of dealing with life than the rose-tinted world of supporting Arsenal.
  19. The only rationale I can offer is: 1. We've literally just given him a new contract which will (yet again) cost a fortune to pay off. 2. Is it already too late to salvage this season? We have Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in our next six fixtures (albeit with the trade-off that we also have Leicester, Everton and Wolves in the same period).
  20. RM had this to say recently about regrettably having to drop the likes of Adam Armstrong… ”I feel fiercely loyal to some players who helped get us to the Premier League." I expect the club may need to make a similarly difficult decision soon about him?
  21. That would be a massive statement of intent!
  22. This is special, even by our abysmally low standards. Could we be watching the worst side in Premier League history?
  23. Totally inexperienced player in naive mistake shocker!
  24. Fuck the score, give me the possession stats!
  25. This has made my night, thanks! Feel silly for moping since full time now.
