  1. Fully agree, a point against a decent team that we dislike playing against and our manager not on the sidelines. If we were West Brom fans we’d have plenty to moan about.
  2. And if that’s the case so be it. We have no right to expect a result in these types of games, just give it our all and hope for some luck. Unlike July, we’ve not had the latter today (at least not yet) and I guess you then just hope you end the game with 11 men and not being on the end of a morale sapping hammering. Merry Christmas 😃
  3. I've previously been critical of Claus, but this article has helped put things into perspective and I now have reasonable sympathy for him. Yes, he's acted like a tool at times, but this is more the product of his illness rather than a reflection of who he really is. I used to have a footballer living opposite me, he wasn't a household name but played the majority of his career in the EFL. He and his family were so unhinged and you could see how the lifestyle (not to mention life's other challenges) had impacted them and how he was struggling to come to terms with the fact his career was coming to an end. A very messy sight and I was both infuriated and sympathetic to them in equal measure as they just weren't able to cope with things mentally. Being a footballer is no doubt a brilliant career, but there are so many ways to fall of the rails from what I've seen,
  4. Merry Bloomin’ Christmas 🙂
  5. Will meet you halfway at 75 🙂
  6. Too early to take Ings off IMO. Need another goal or 10 more minutes 👍🏻
  7. Over the bloody moon! You can’t play well every game, so when you don’t it’s all about getting a result. 5th!!!
  8. Fuck me, how depressing are some of you! So little faith 😐
  9. Love our crest, always have and always will. I've heard many people say that it's one of the best out there!
  10. Jesus guys, have better faith!
  11. Haha was about to ask who else screenshot the live table. Whatever the score it counts right?
  12. Time for others to step up. The signing of Theo seems a masterstroke now as I think he can do a job with Adams up front.
  13. I don't have detailed info on how often Ings is taken off towards the end of games, but surely the other forced substitutions yesterday would have influenced not taking him off in this particular match? I think a general rule is that you tend not to use your third and final sub until a bit later than the 85th minute?
  14. My initial reaction was that this probably wasn't a serious injury, but good to hear some reasonably positive news to that effect. The fact that the Newcastle game is even being mentioned for Danny is extremely positive as I'm sure most of us would have taken missing only that in a heartbeat. The cynic in me would then also be glad that he's nowhere near the England squad (which I would hope would be the case if Saints play this smart).
  15. Well I’m happy even if no one else is! WE’RE 3RD!!!!! 🙂
  16. What the hell will be the score when we play Liverpool? About 20-5 to us I reckon 🙂
  17. I have a lot of faith in this team. That said, I saw the half time score then didn’t look again until full time. Of all the possible end scores, I didn’t once think of 2-0 still. That made me happier than something like a 3-1 or 4-2 🙂
  18. Let’s hope he doesn’t suffer any adverse symptoms and can continue to keep his fitness over the coming days 👍🏻
  19. Let’s hope he doesn’t suffer any adverse symptoms and can continue to keep his fitness over the coming days 👍🏻
  20. Sounds like a first class display today. I’m especially pleased for Romeu, who I’ve always rated. I said 2 weeks ago (when there was a lot of bed wetting going on) that I wasn’t going to pass judgment until we were a few more weeks in. I’ll just say I glad I did because we’re looking half decent from where I’m sat 🙂
  21. Ings on target for 56 goals this season according to my maths 🙂
  22. I made a promise to myself not to make any negative comments about our start to the season until the end of September. I’m very pleased I have good self-discipline 🙂
  23. We can't send them down. Even if we smashed them, they could still stay up if they beat Everton on the final day and Watford lose their last 2 games to Man City and Arsenal (which is quite likely you would think). I think I'd rather be in Bournemouth's shoes than Watfords to be honest, even if they were to lose to us tomorrow!
  24. I remember watching Jordy Clasie making his home debut for us in a European qualifier. He was absolutely hopeless and a complete lightweight.
