Top 5 reasons not to give a f*ck if we go up or not
Dr Who? replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
Amen! -
Hover for the game, or does that take to much power?
-
The problem with the BBC is that they list players that have been out long term, so not sure if or how many of these players have been out or are fresh injuries.
-
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17661637 Jesus, could Bristol City have any more injuries.
-
See if you can find the Dr!
-
Reading will win tomorrow, we will win tomorrow and West Ham will draw.
-
At least we are not going to play on a Friday night! Anyway we will win tomorrow and West Ham will draw.

Barnet went into the league in 1991 for the first time, and have been promoted to the league higher than the basement only to be relegated to the basement league the season after. They got relegated to the conference again in 2001, and went up as champions in 2006 and still remain in the league. Yes a little dull, but not really been in the league very long. Just reading some of their history, it has been eventful to say the least!
-
They won the JPT this season beating Swindon.... they are about to swap places with them though in league 2. They won a payoff final and reach semi finals in 1997. A little bit, but not much to shout about.... more than Rochdale though!
-
Rochdale, gained their promotion to league 1 after spending 36 years in the basement league. They did win promotion in 1969 from the basement league and did spend 5 years up but then were relegated in 1974. So 1921 they entered the football league through applying, and for 91 years they have spent 86 of them in the basmement league! They have never won a sausage, but have the honor of being the only basement club to reach the league cup frinal in 1962 only to lose! Oh and they are bottom of league one now, just about to re-enter the lowest league again after 2 seasons away from it! Now that for me is dull.

Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .

Also if we lose and West Ham win, it is possible that we could be 3rd on Tuesday night. -

Any chance of the skates going out of business in the next few days? Would help somewhat. No thought not! -
Excitment without a doubt. I am loving it, and even though I have been studying remaining fixtures, I have not managed to call much that has happened in this time. This is what football is all about, and I have said it a million times before, if you cannot enjoy it now you never will! COYR.

Really looking forward to this game.
-
But if West Ham win all 3 they may well go up on goal difference IF we lose to Middlesborough. I think it will go down to the last game of the season, but would be nice to beat Peterborough and Bristol City to beat West Ham!
-
Why is it the most non saints, west ham and reading fan think we are going to screw it up? Was talking to a Norwich City coach today and he things we are going to screw it up. Most people think it is because West Ham have nothing to lose, hence the battering they handed out to Brighton yesterday. Bristol City could be much different and I think that we will win, but I am not sure about West Ham!

I did the same in December. It was boxing day. I proposed in Feb.

Up the empire state building, down on one knee. It was blinking freezing! Perfect!

Top 5 reasons not to give a f*ck if we go up or not

This has been quite comforting, but I for some mad reason want to go up. You do realise that we must have come across as these arrogant fans over the last 3 seasons? We need to see what happens when we do go up. Just to see if we push for Europe, extend the ground..... I do have to say 2 or the 3 seasons in the championship last time around we're bloody terrible. Whatever league you are in, it is only good if you are WINNING! -
Hang on a minute, I am sure West Ham would think they have screwed things up, and we were thinking the same in December and January. Only 3 games left but still lots of twists. West Ham will drop points, we just need to make sure we get back with a win on Tuesday.
-
Last time West Ham lost away was 31st January to Ipswich 5-1!!! Now I would like Bristol City to repeat this result with us getting a 3-0 away win...... I can dream!
-
I agree with you on this. The playoffs we will fold, being 2nd all season, and ending in 3rd will be far to much to pick up from!
-
Win Tuesday and I think we will go up! I think I might also have to get my arse up to Middlesborough. Let's face it, it is very possible that we will get 4 points, or even West Ham slipping up. I have the terrible fear that, that late goal against the skates we could be reminded about time and time again. As you can probably tell from this post my head is all over the place, and like others on here, we do not have a clue what is going to happen, and let's face it, we can only turn up to games and really it is out of our hands as fans.
-
How about when we win on Tuesday, draw next Sat and the Sat afterwards. Still think West Ham will slip up somewhere and drop 2 points.
