  1. According to our official website, we are playing Wimbeldon in the JPT! WTF! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/fixtures-results/
  2. That is about where we are now, averaging 14 mph, but hoping I can pick this up now I am losing the huge grip on my wide tyres, to slicks for my mountain bike. All good, we really need to get together for a cycle!
  3. Wow! I took 3:47 minutes to do 47 miles last weekend, and it was pretty flat!
  4. Hey all, I did say a while back that I would be happy for this thread to be moved, but I am very grateful that the mods have left it on the main board. Turkish is right, not sure how it has lasted, but I think the mods have found it in their heart to leave it on this occasion. I think it is because I am doing something good for charity, but I would not mind if it was moved. I do not think there would be much point now. I am also trying to get other Saints fans together for a cycle. Today I did a 22 mile cycle. Was really good and feel we are pretty much ready. I have now lost 2.5 stone and want to lose another half a stone and would have met 2 of my 3 my goals. The last one will be the £500, we now stand at £382. My bike is in for a service this weekend and some slick tyres. A break from cycling this weekend, full on football, as I take my 4 year old daughter to her first game. I will be wearing my against shirt on the day of the cycle, and would like to get a group of Saints fans together to cycle to and back from a game!
  5. Taken today off, as I cycled Tuesday and refereed yesterday! Still making it there on the donation front. Now up to £377 out of the £500 required. Please help if you can. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=simsgocycling&isTeam=true
  6. Just managed to get a quick one in after work, before it got dark! 7. Hi all, I am looking for an Electrition to carry out a safety certificate on my property in Sholing. I live up near Cambridge and will need to be invoiced. My tenant has mentioned that her son has had a couple of small shocks off of the downstairs light switches. I also want the older light switches changed. Cheers Kev Kevinsim@hotmail.co.uk
  8. Tonight is the night.
  9. Have been for the last 3 years, and have loved every minute. I think we are on the verge of the most remarkable years of being a Saints fan ever.
  10. Taking my 4 year old daughter for her first game, she has been hassling me for ages now. There were not many seats left last Thursday. After yesterday, I should think the tickets will all be snapped up!
  11. Well did the New Forest Rattlers ride yesterday 47 miles in 3:47 minutes, and we stopped for 20 minutes! Now this was much better than the 4 and half hours I expected. This means I think I will do the London to Brighton in 4 and a half hours now. I will be happy with this, as was thinking 6 hours. So all going well, and only 4 weeks and it will be all over. 12. Reading you post again, the one you are looking to do is the same and me and Liz, but we are doing it 2014, as we have the local event next year.
  13. Hi, first of of, good for you. I am thinking of doing the 3 cities holland and Belgium. But do not want to ask for sponsorship all over again! So becomes a bit catch 22. The simple answer is yes you have to make up the difference. With the £500 target, we thought it would be easy to make. But times are hard, and we understand this. You can do other things like quizzes, events, and even a non-school uniform at your local school to raise the funds. After this we are taking the winter off, and then we are going to raise money for our local wildlife park. The reason for this, is that it is great, the staff are friendly and they are funding a hedgehog hospital. They rely on fund raising to keep going, and they really are fantastic. For now though, we should make the £500, and to be honest, this board have been amazing, not with just the donations, but the advice has been second to non. The wife has slicks on her bike now, and someone only mention that a couple of weeks ago. I will sponsor you, because I know how challenging it is.
  14. Well at least it made the Wigan game nearly sell out! No I think he will still be a Saint, and this is just tactics, trying to close the deal. Get you finger out Saints, no messing about, pay up!!
  15. Yeah, I am going to do what I did last season and NOT go to games on TV as this way it means I get to see Saints more in the season, as I have to pick and choose my games.
  16. How does the point system work, and does it include away games? As I will mostly go to away games this season, as I like watching us lose
  17. Only a few left for Wigan, I registered and pick one ticket up for me and one for my daughter. This will sell out. It is my daughters 4th birthday that week so works out well, can make a day of it. System seems good. Cheers
  18. Hi all, Is there anything special I need to do to buy tickets, or can I just phone up with my customer number like I did last season and purchase a ticket? I know there were processes to follow to register to buy tickets, do I need to do this? Cheers as I want to buy a ticket for the Wigan game.
  19. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/7997121/Saints-agree-record-deal one down.
  20. Just the 4 weeks to go now, and this Sunday I have the New Forest Rattlers 47 mile ride around the New Forest before the bike kick off! This will be a huge test to see how close we are to the 54 mile ride at the real event. http://www.newforestrattler.co.uk/node/14 We are doing the 46.65 mile one this year, and will aim for the longer one next year. Please donate if you can, as this would give us a fantastic boost for this Sunday and the final push over the next 4 weeks. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=simsgocycling&isTeam=true Thanks fellow Saints!!
  21. Our aim is a a fraction over a point per game and we will stay up. Need to win as many as possible at home, and beat a couple around us away from home. win 9 home games and draw 4 and pick up 9 points on the road? Please
  22. This thread is the best!

  25. Dr Who?

    Wigan Home

Hi all, I am looking to go to the home game against Wigan, with Mrs Dr Who and 2 of the 3 children. I am not a season ticket holder, and the kids are 3 and 7 month baby! What sort of price will I be looking for for the little ones? Cheers
