Cannot see Leeds getting 2 more wins and a draw in their last 4 (Arsenal and Chelsea) Cannot see Burnley picking up more than 4 points. In their last 4 (away to Villa, and Spurs) Everton - god knows! But I think 9 points. All this is if we do not pick up another point, which of course is possible, but we will hopefully end all this talk of the drop at Brentford. But even if we do not pick up another point, I think we will be safe before the last game.

Yep, but need to keep posting as it gets lost in the thread. There is also the main thread build up. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/topic/59319-southampton-fc-women-v-wolverhampton-wanderers-women-saturday-21st-may-2022-3pm-ko/

I really like Ralf, but even I have to think there is a mentality issue here. The 0-9, 9-0 and recently the 0-6 which could have been double figures. The above as well as the last 2 seasons getting to a certain point and just seemingly taking our foot off the gas with a ‘that will do attitude’. The fact that we had only lost once at home all season until the above mentioned on the beach attitude and then proceeding to lose 5 of the last 6 at home, with Watford, Palace and Newcastle (at the time terrible). So from losing 1 in 14 at home we have lost 5 in 6. Now that is a huge shift and like the 9-0’s is a mentality thing. I will add to this the complete collapse at Villa park at the start of the second half. Within these results we got a point at a poor Leeds, which now seems a massive point and somehow holding on against Arsenal. I am not a knee jerk reaction kind of person, but even I think, the 2 seasons of on the beach attitude, with chalk and cheese comparisons and the 2 x 9-0 and the 0-6, with the Villa Park spell, there is a huge mentality issue that needs addressing and this only can come through management.

My daughter is at Lancashire uni, and my sister in law was at Lancashire uni about 17 years ago, so we visited Morecambe Bay a little. So what brought you to these parts. Us it was the family member above going to uni (the older one) we used to come up and visit and loved it. Moved up from Cambridge and cleared all our debts, and got the bike out 😉

All my focus is cheering on the women’s team to promotion. As for the men well 🙄 Hampshire are doing well 👍

I think that is because it is Everton. I’m 47 and I have always known them to be in top flight. oh and on the Leeds points, they really need 7 points to get above us because of their goal difference.
-
Leeds will not get 6 more points. Next 3 games, City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Make that 7 points.
-
More points? 🤷🏽
-
5 points

Did anyone get their money on at Palace 7/1 at 1-0 down?

Cannot be arsed reading this whole thread, after a bottle of claret. When do we find out about the new kit?

It will be set piece Prowse.

Is it burnt orange or mint sunrise? I going to go Orange or Purple then, or maybe salmon pink, as Everton called their pink shirt a while back.

Is it a frolicking and playful shoot, like in IT crowd?

Did not know we were in Scotland's elite, or playing Rugby now? Only the 14 years out of date.

So it’s the build up to the big one, as Southampton Women look to gain promotion to the Championship, so I though a thread of its own was justified. The link below will take you to the page to buy tickets for the day. https://www.stockportcounty.com/match-day-tickets/?ftredirect=1 I am also aware that there is travel up to Stockport from Southampton on the day. It would be great to cheer our double winning 🏆 🏆 women on and give them the support they deserve. I think they have had an amazing season and it would be great to see them over the line. Match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 21st May 2022. COYR! ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍
