I agree with you on this. The playoffs we will fold, being 2nd all season, and ending in 3rd will be far to much to pick up from!
-
Win Tuesday and I think we will go up! I think I might also have to get my arse up to Middlesborough. Let's face it, it is very possible that we will get 4 points, or even West Ham slipping up. I have the terrible fear that, that late goal against the skates we could be reminded about time and time again. As you can probably tell from this post my head is all over the place, and like others on here, we do not have a clue what is going to happen, and let's face it, we can only turn up to games and really it is out of our hands as fans.
-
How about when we win on Tuesday, draw next Sat and the Sat afterwards. Still think West Ham will slip up somewhere and drop 2 points.
-
We stayed up a lot on the last day. We beat Brighton away last season We beat West Ham at home this season. You take Blackpool out of the recent away games and our away form is really good. I am a little more worried now, because of the goal difference, but if we win on Tuesday or next Saturday I will be much happier.
-
We were bloody good on Monday, and played some good stuff last night. We will beat posh and Cov and go up.
-
West Ham are up for it then! Lol
-
If we do end up in the play offs there is no way we will be playing Brighton at least!
-
Bristol City to draw so they go into their game with West Ham on the back of 2 wins and a draw, but we need them to be battling to stay up a win today and they could think they are already there.
-
For me Chaplow is a good ball winner , but distribution is a little naff. He is a more direct player. We are void of options in the area, but I expect more of de ridder!
-
Most seem to be on here. It is going to be tough, of course it is! We just need to get 2 wins in 3 and starting Tuesday would be good, because if not we COULD be all level with the hammers with 2 to play. We both will be going to playoff chasing teams, we go first on Sat and they go on the Monday night game.... Big weekend that could be.
-
As long as West Ham do not start battering teams, I still think it might come down to goal difference!
-
You say this and then say be positive a couple of posts down! If we do lose to Cov then I do not think we will go up.
-
I think that Brighton could draw with West Ham, and west ham could ven slip up to Bristol City, and Leicester. It is possible for us to go up by just beating Cov.
-
West Ham v Brighton - West Ham Win Bristol City v West Ham - West Ham Win Leicester v West Ham - draw West Ham v Hull - draw West Ham 8 points Peterborough v Southampton - Saints win Middlesborough v Southampton - Middlesbough win Southampton v Coventry - Saints win Southampton 6 points Southampton 88 points West Ham 84 I think we can even do with a draw at Posh and West Ham to beat Hull on the final day and we will still go up on goal difference.
-
But if thy win tomorrow they are 3 points behind. Say we lose at posh and Middlesbough and beat Cov West Ham will have to win their last 3. You are right it is unlikely but possible. West Ham will draw a couple I think. Which means they will get 8 points. So best Cov and we will be up, unless they Tonk a couple teams.
-
West Ham will not lose. They might draw, but I think they will end their run of games without a win... Just probability for a team in 3rd. If they do lose we are up, the same as we would have been if we won today......we will beat Cov!
-
Ha ha brilliant. I know you are joking by the way, but he did get found out tonight.
-
If West Ham win all 4 I will give you £20, just not going to happen!
-
Was I the only one thinking no not a 3rd because of the goal difference?
-
We will win on Tuesday and beat Cov home.....we will not beat Middlesbough as it is on tv
-
Yes please.
-
Night all! DAM!
-
Not going to happen is it!
-
That was against Brighton.

15th November 2009 was the last time we lost at home when we have scored!
