You are right come Tuesday I will want us to win, but if we lose it will not be the end of the world. I just do not want a cup run to get in the way of promotion, and like all of you I want out of this league this season.
-
I really do not care about this compitition this season. Do not get me wrong I was well up for the Final last season and loved the day overall, but this season it is ALL about promotion. Is this wrong of me? I really do not want us to progress this season in this compitition.

Hi all, If any of you are going to away games and some home I am thinking of driving to about 12-15 of them. I live in Meldreth (South Cambridgeshire) which is just up from Royston. SG8 6JX is the post code. I will be driving in my small car but it is very cheap on the petrol. I can pick up and drop of to and from games if anyone is stuck for a lift or travel to games. Space for 3 others. My first game will be Rochdale home, going down the A505, A1M and then the roads through St Albans onto the M25 and then down the M3. This will be the same for all home games I go to. I will be doing one home game a calandar monh and the next one will be Bournemouth. Will be doing MK Dons away and Yeovil away, not sure on the routes as yet, but if you think you are on route then let me know. Get enough of us in the future and will get a mini bus and make a day of it more often as it will keep the costs down. So just let me know, as slight detours I will consider. Kevin Sim sfcsim Dr Who?

have made up my mind that I want to go to this one now. Does anyone know if there are still tickets?

I can see 6 wins and a draw. I do not think we will lose to many this season but maybe a few frustrating draws at home, and a few loses against teams we think we should not lose against. Overall enough points to go up, and pardew to get manager of the year.
-
I know if is only one result, but it just shows how many fans on here really do not give things time. OK we might stil mess things up but I cannot see it with the squad we have got. We are going to lose games that we should not along the way, but so with other teams in this league where things like that happen every week. We will go up overall though.

As many did say, we needed an away game, I have no fear that we will go up!!

I **** at music festivals and sometimes if it has been raining a lot and the cleaning/sucking vans cannot make it up the hill, you have to take some pole with you to push the poo below the seat level so you can sit down.... all in the name of music.

Hesitant To Post This, But Me I'm Out Of Patience
Dr Who? replied to TijuanaTim's topic in The Saints
I have said it on many other threads, and I will say it again, as long as we are creating chances I am happy (for now). If we are not creating chances then I would be worried. OK it can only go on for so long, but two games is no time to be panicking. I think an away game is what is needed, just to take a little bit of the pressure off that is created by home games. As soon as we start scoring you will wonder what all the fuss was about. I have no doubt that we will go up, as we have the best set of players in this league. Up the Saints! -
I think we need an away game to release the pressure of home games. I think we will win on Saturday and we will click into place. I have no doubt that we have the best team in this league and we create enough chances, but every team goes through the same problem for a few games a season.
-
We are creating plenty of chances and I have no doubt we will click right into place. We will get the team balance right. This may sound strange but I think we will be better off with an away game to take a bit of pressure off what has been a very emotional start to the season. We will be fine and I have no doubt we have the talent to gain promotion, but the team just needs to click into place.

Good signing, but really think we need a ball winning mifielder, it is not as though we are short of attacking players!!
-
Well that is 5 hours of my life I will never get back!! Still no one has been hit by any vehicle!!!
-
Forest will not do anywhere near as well as they did last season, as for Swindon. You always have one or two teams that has a one off season. punched well above their weight but played really good football. Watch this one come back and bit me!!

The offical website is and always has been rubbish for finding out ticket details for away games. Has the MK game sold out or not? I can go now as it is in mid week and just down the road...... but are there tickets left and where can I find a link online to buy them.

All fine with the wife thanks, she made a big mistake got a warning, and she learns from that and moves on! Very lucky.

Load of rubbish for me this season, starts off so bad with clashes with other things I am doing. MK Dons - On holiday Bristol Rovers - Reading Festival Swindon - Muse at Wembley Sheffield Wednesday away - Family outing to the theatre Yeovil - A Tuesday!! But then I am off and running in OCTOBER!! Huddersfield Notts County Carlisle Walsall Charlton (maybe) D&R Tranmere The Posh Rochdale Colchester Plymouth Leyton Orient Brentford. So looks like I might have to do some home games early part of the season to keep me going!!

Not my listing, but what a great photo. I think this captures the moment perfect!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Framed-Southampton-FC-1976-FA-Cup-Winning-Goal-Photo-/350216694393?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_SportsMemorabilia_Football_Memorabilia_ET&hash=item518a8aaa79 Happy Days.... well I was only 18 months old but I get a shiver down my spin whenever I see the goal, so what must it do to people that were there.

Thanks for the advice. She has been a teacher for 4 years and has worked so hard at her job, but is still a little wet behind the ears. With regards to facebook it is about the same age as her teaching career and noone really thinks it will become a problem posting on there. But you learn and move on in life. She has a 'meeting' on Friday and is trying to get a union rep to attend with her. Her profile was private and only for "Friends" to see, but one of these "friends" has for some reason decided to grass her up here. Also with her being a union person at her school it has been divide down the middle with an issue that came up in a report... I think they have hit back! Hopefully all with be fine, and she is going to see her new school on Thursday and will decide then if she will say anything about what is happening. It could all blow over on Friday so might not be worth it. Cheers all of you.

I am posting as I am concerned and know that there a lot of teachers on here and may have some advice or what they think the outcome will be. The thing is on here none of you (or very few know me let alone my wife and it is not her posting this it is me). I do get your point about posting on here/the net.
