You cannot win every game, I think we will at least get a draw, but I think we will be back to winning ways in the week even if we do lose today. But a long long way to go and matches change so quickly. COYR!!!

Have we taken our foot off the peddle? Well we were 1-0 down at half time last week and won 3-1, so still plenty of time.

MK Dons will not make the playoffs this season. They were a better team last year. It looks on paper like they are really good having only lost 1 away game, but they have played, Tranmere, Brighton, Wycombe, and Exeter, all there wins. Drawn at Swindon, and there only loss on the road has come at Oldham. I think it will be a tough game, but I also think that this will be there hardest away game of the season so far!!

Record is only for the start of the season. Well 6 was not sure about 7 ha ha ha The funny thing is they are yet to have a bad patch!

can you buy tickets on the day?

Hi all, I have just been thinking all along that there will be tickets on the day or pay at the gate. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get them on the day? My sister in-law lives in Carlisle so all rounds hers for the night.

Not sure if this means that the ticket sales will go up for the Carlisle game next week. I was hoping to get a ticket on the day. We will not shift 1000 tickets for this one will we??

You know what I could not give a flying.... He gave so much for Southampton and kept us up on many ocassions. If we slipped down the leagues while he was playing for us I would question things, but he kpt us in the top flight for years. He is loyal and he scored both the goals in a 2-0 win. It really does not bother me. He gave me some of my best years in football, and I think that I will never see football like that in my life again at Southampton!! LEGEND now and always!!

I think we will stay up this season. I can see the team starting to gel, and I think results will start to turn round over the next few weeks. We will not do much better than just about staying up but at least we can build from L1 next season and not L2.

Ok then, Tony Adams was only seen at the club as he will be coming in as a defence coach, and not manager. This is not true!!

I will hold my hand up and say I have been taken on a ride by someone, but I think it just goes to show that the club have done so well to keep this water tight. I will no longer be listening to any romours that come from a certain person that is for sure. But I did hear that.... no I am not even going to go there. Alan Pardew is a great appointment no question at all!!

I do not believe you are even watching me in here. Looking forward to Saturday. Well we will see who is appointed and I think it will be WGS, but league 1 really does scramble my brain to the question....why?

No what I have heard at all. Strachan is about to go on holiday and wants to get away with his family. He needs a few more weeks and because of this the club will not be rushing into a decision. They are interviewing other candidates, but if they feel that Strachan is their man then they will wait until the end of July. Hence the story today about them not rushing. What they mean here is that they will not rush Strachan and not rule out others. Strachan is aware of this but would like a little bit longer. This board makes me laugh. Some on here do not half speak some rubbish. I would take WGS back and he would stay without a doubt and help rebuild our club. I think he stayed on at Coventry and took so much abuse and just kept on going. Even at Celtic it started turning nasty as he did not win the league for the first time in 4 years. It is madness. I do not think many would find it easy working with RL to be fair. He has been at 3 clubs in about 12 years. That is not bad and pretty much forced out all the clubs he has been at. Get a grip we are a league 1 club and if we land WGS it would be amazing. I would be suprised if it did happen, but would be so happy and it would unite MOST of the fans and keep the feel good factor going, and we need to keep it rolling on.

I was gutted when Hoddle left and I was one of the people who understood why he did, and never hated the bloke. I just feel that WGS has been in the game with Celtic and has been a success, be it in Scotland. I feel Hoddle maybe a little out of touch, when was he sacked by Spurs 2003/4? I would love it if WGS came in and I feel the fans would be more united behind him. We all know he could not take us any further, but I also would take a gamble on GH without a doubt.

Nick I would say that WGS has been our best manager in the last 20 years or so based on a cup final, getting us into Europe and to the top 4. You have to remember he took over a huge mess to. I liked the style of football Hoddle had us playing and it was the first time for a long time we could defend. I think WGS just about get the nod ahead of Hoddle.

Sorry just in general if a funds transfer is made by wire (CHAPS) it will clear the same day if made before 2 or 3pm. As they made the payment afterwards then it is carries forward to the next morning and will clear in a couple of hours. BACS will take two days unless it is between two certain banks then it will take 2/3 working days, but can clear the same day as the transfer. I am sure that as we are talking million's they will be a longer process than this and we should here something on Friday

Right the monies should be transfered by latest 11am this morning. I take it they have wored it CHAPS and not done it by BACS which (can) take up to 2/3 days!! Just to get our backs up they have probably paid BACS ha ha ha!!
