So does anyone have any up to date take over news? I think it is split between people returning because of Lowe going (As I know plenty that have returned on this alone and started spending money in the club shop) and the fact we are in dire straights. (not the band) I think we could get about 20k at home games and increase on how well we perform. Me I go to mainly away games but will now go to as many home games as I can now. I live in Cambridge and cannot afford the round trip. Now back to topic any latest news on the take over?

Can we not set up a donation page on this site? Weymouth have tried the same but do not have the support that we do. We must be able to have a Paypal set up on this site where we can donate and then get the word out and about around the stadium and in the Echo. It would be a good advert for this site and would create more members.

I think we will sale the club now that Lowe has gone. I do not believe he wanted anyone else to take his toy away. We will see, but I think there will be plenty of interest. COYRS!!

I have a feeling we have had our mini revival at the same time other are having a longer revival. I really do think we have lost our head of steam far to quickly. I fear the worse.

Now I can see both parts of this argument and it will not go away. This is why there is a need for a safe standing section at football as there is quite clearly a demand for it. I think that safe standing (Having an allocated section where you stand and no seats in this area the way forward). I am not talking about old terraces as this would not be safe. This way people who want to stand can stand and people who want/need to sit can sit. I am in favour of standing at football, but when the game gets a little boring I do like to sit down. there has to be a solution as there is a demand for standing and this needs to be addresses because as it is it is NOT safe.

WGS... without a doubt, and with a little more support from the then chairman (oh sorry he is the same now) he could have taken us to the next level.

I will give it until about 17.55 on Saturday then the war will probably start again. I am hoping out of all hope that the war will stay away for the rest of the season, but we will see.

who wants us to go into admin and/or wotte to fail
Dr Who? replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
I will never want Saints to fail, no matter who is managing, playing or owning the club! I cannot see for the life of me how we can stay up with the way the club is being run, and the way the team doing. I keep reading about Charlton being in the trouble they are but can see them getting out of the bottom 3 but not Saints and they are 3 points behind us. I might put some money on them staying up. -
I remember 7k turning up for Ipwich at home under Branfoot.

I have a feeling about Thursday myself!!

Showed the goal against Blackburn that put Timmy on his back, and the flick up free kick at The Dell against Wimbledon.

The answer to that question is. Easleigh would be in the Conference and we would be in League 1. This means in the 2010/11 season we could be playing Eastleigh. Unlikely but yes we could be or it could be worse and we could be right at the bottom of the pile starting again! Someone please buy SFC so we can get out of this mess we are in!!!

They know they have the second leg to batter them!

I did not renew my season ticket after we were relegated in 2005. I already had a bellyful of the board by this point. After getting to the cup final in 2003 and into Europe the board had a choice and that was to push the boat out a little and try and push on as a club or be skinflints and watch all the good work go out of the window just so they had a few extra quid to pay themselves. It is all down to the greed of the board. You could see throughout the season 2004/05 that the club was being drained and that something was up and you could see that it was the start of something bad. This has continued and I believe that the club have a lot worse to come and I just hope that we do not completely go into a black hole and have to start again. I will continue to watch Saints but mainly away from home and will still carry on loving the club but it somehow does not feel the same as it did and I have a very sour taste left in my mouth from how things can go so wrong in such a short space of time. Perhaps it is time to start a New Saints FC (AFC Southampton) anyone? LOL

Talking of problems, does anyone know the code for joining the Saintsweb fantasy football on the Barclays Fantasy football? My shirt feels like it is going to fall apart very easy but still in one piece. Cheers Kev

Blackpool H (3pts) QPR A (0pts) Ipswich H (1pt) Barnsley H (3pts) Doncaster A (1pt) Norwich H (1pt) = 9 Blackpool H (3pts) QPR A (0pts) Ipswich H (3pts) Barnsley H (3pts) Doncaster A (1pt) Norwich H (3pts) = 13 The bottom one is me in a good mood and feeling good, and the other one is normal. We will probably go and beat QPR after losing at home to Blackpool. A win in the cup in the week followed by 3 points on Sat could set us up quite well.
