Yep they announced it at the game that it was th largest ever attendance in this compitition!! Brilliant! Now for the largest at a final!
-
looks like they got the supply and demand prices just right for this one.... another brilliant piece of business!!

Does Jonathan Pearce think it will be a saints win?

MK Dons Build Up Thread - It's a sell-out, folks!

I cannot wait to get away from work at 3pm and make my way down to Southampton. As I said in the first leg, I do think that the MK Dons main priority will be making the playoffs, and for this reason I see use winning this on 2-1 and 3-1 over the tie! I also think that we will play Leeds in the final! -

Making my way down from near Cambridge. I do not care what anyone says this is a big one. We are a league 1 side and this is a compitition like any that is there to be won! COYR!! -
Which could be from tightening up at the back, but not being so free flowing going forward. We need to address this situation and quickly!

I think he is doing the right thing and saying what he expects from the team. We cannot just drift along, but next season will be the time to make changes if things are not happening on the pitch. I still think we are going in the right direction.... just seem to be turning away wins into draws!!
-
Well he is looking more and more like Paul Jones.... and sounds like he is playing like him! Great shot stopper, but could not come for crosses. (Oh but Jones could not kick either) Still used to love Paul Jones a great servent to our club!

That is it Jackpot Cafe, which it is has not look about it that makes you think you have hit the jackpot. Which again the question comes up, how has it stayed open so long where others have fallen?

For my sins I grew up on the Flower Estate, and did not turn out to bad. Used to play for the black cat, which is now a Mc Donalds I think. Remember walking up the M27 the week before it was opened!

Would love to but just waiting to move a little bit closer!! Nothing I would like more than to be a season ticket holder again!

then 01703?

Along with the area dialing code. Used to start with 0703?

It is still there, and back in 1994 I lived just over the road from it!! Looks rubbish but holds a lot of memories, and I am suprised it is still going!!

He was when I left Southampton in 2006!

Just wondering if there are any North Herts Saints on here. I live in Royston, and travel to some home games and mostly away game. Cheers Kev sfcsim

ha ha ha ha I did not even know that was an option... I am up for that!!

Would you prefer us to wear our away kit, just so we can kit out in Yellow for Wembley? (even though our kit is mostly not yellow) I know that if we play Carlise then we are in the position of wearing our home kit in a final, but Leeds it will be a toss of a coin again, or will we choose YELLOWS? What would you prefer?

I think with a big crowd on Tuesday many fans will try and pick up tickets for the skates game. If we win and play well, or even just draw I think the feel good factor will mean that the ticket sales will increase from Wednesday to Friday. I think the Skakes game will sell out. All in all not a bad couple of extra games bringing money into the club, and just think if we do make the final how much the club shop will make!! COYR!!!

He knows he has it good here.... it is a bit like prem manager when you take over a lower league club with great potential, and a fantastic set up!! He of course can see the headlines Pardew takes Saints from League 1 and minus 10 points to the prem league!! Then he will bugger off!!
-
I really do not think there will be that much movement at the end of the season, but of course no one can tell. I think Lallana will stay for another season and I cannot see Lambert and Morgan moving on. I think Perry, Wotton, and Connolly can do a bit part job for us in league 1. I think if Waigo picks up a bit he will stay, but we will see on that one. That leaves Thomas..... I hope that the main core of the team stay together, and that is the job of the manager. If he did not see the players in his plans for next season he should have shifted them out. There cannot be an excuses for next season!!
-
I cannot wait until Tuesday, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not screw this one up Saints!! What a day out it will be. Looking forward to this more than anything else this season!!
-
I think we will keep the squad together, and I really do not believe that we need anymore players if all the current lot our fit. We will have to see if any want away. I have been impressed with the good vibe from new players, who also see the long term, and I think I can see this too. There is so much good around the club at the moment on and off the field. I just feel the players we have are still here now after a minus 10 start, so I cannot see any reason to jump ship when we start on an even playing field. What do you think will happen close season?
-
I think it will happen. Yes on paper our team looks like one of the best, but we also need to show this on the pitch. I think from next season AP will know he best 11, and we will see. Of course if he does not deliver next season then questions will have to be asked, and the 5 year plan looking very doubtful! Winning the league would be fantastic even if league 1!!
-
I do think this is the best time as ever to try new players and tactics out. We are not going up, and we are not goong down! Start of next season he will know his best 11 and will take it from there. Every supporter knows the best team... that is what makes football so great!!
