  1. It will never last!! lol
  2. I think it could be that you get slagged off for starting to many threads, and get told they are 'so original', by admin. Not really making feel like contributing to the site that much. Ok in here keep it Saints related that is fine, but in the lounge surely if you think something is interesting and you post it, and it is not offensive or rude then it is down to the users of the bored if they want to reply and find it interesting or original?? If they do responde then it stays high up on the board, if they do not like it, then it just drifts away like Saints Championship hopes! With this forum, I just think that the results on the pitch keep people away from here just like they do SMS. I find it interesting sometimes and will reply, but half the time in this forum the same things come up again and again, and it is stale. When things pick up I think this board will again as well.
  3. I thought the last dawn was going well up until the Monday after the Bristol Rovers game. Of course we will never know what hapopened there, but I really did think that result on the Saturday had started our season, and we were off! I was so happy at the reading Festival that evening. Oh well!
  4. I am sorry but I really do find it very interesting how people meet their other half, there are so many different ways. It does amazes me that just on a off chance you meet the person that you may spend the rest of your life with. Found out the other day that a mate of mine used to see a young lady (now his wife) driving to work every morning and this went on for over a year. He would smile at her and she would smile back, and they would flirt car to car. Used to see her at the traffic lights a roundabout in front or behind him. She used to turn off the M27 the junction before him, and pull off the Bursledon Road going into southampton at Bath Road. It was at this junction that he went into her rear end while driving home, just so he could get her details and to meet her. Brilliant story, and this is what I am talking about the lengths we will go to, so we can meet the person!
  5. Did anyone see this program last night, was suppose to be brilliant. I have Sky + it and will watch it at the weekend. All about a NQT who has a troubled pupil in there class. Just wondering if anyone saw it and though it was good. I will be back with a review myself. Love BBC Drama
  6. I used to have my season ticket in the Northam for 5 years about half way up, and I enjoyed the games much more with a bit of banter. I now go and watch the games in other areas of the ground and it is not quite the same, and I look over at the Northam and see them as the heartbeat of the stadium, but I go with my 8 year old now and she would not be able to see any of the game. Still think the Northam are pretty impressive even if it does have some idiots, but they are just youngsters having fun in their own minds.

  15. Me and my now wife were together for 3 years when I popped the question, and then it was another 18 months until we were married. Now been married for 5 years and still going strong. Do not think there is any time limit, some are happy not to get married at all, others have long engagments and some get engaged and never married. I feel that if you get engaged then you sshould get married pretty soon afterward (within 2 years) or it is a bit of an empty promise, and you might as well just not bother. Just my opinion. I think you tend to know, if you think you are ready to spend the rest of your life with someone then why not get married and make that commitement, but others may see it as why do you need to do it for a bit of paper. I was the first one. I was not going to be rushed into it though, it had to be when I knew it was right, after having a really rubbish relationship before I met my wife, I could see that this was a proper relationship with give and take, and a shared respect with my soulmate and best friend. You will know when it is right, you just get the feeling. I told my wife if she kept going on about it I would never ask, and she left it for over a year, and then I popped the question.
  16. I am down in Southampton on Saturday October 2nd for the Bournemouth game and it is also my wifes birthday so we are going out for a meal. As we are both into our Indie music and used to go to Lennons on Onslow road every Saturday I was wondering if this club was still open and it if still has Indie night on Sat night. Used to have bands sometimes in the days of Dead Dead Dead! If not does anyone know if there are Indie nights at any other clubs in Southampton centre?
  17. Yes my dad took very early retirement, and a good job he did rest his soul as he got to enjoy a little bit of his life and not behind a desk.

  19. That oil as you call it was just pure fat dear sir!
  20. I normally poo once a day, but aon a Saturday 2/3 times as I have a Madras on a friday night. Wee about 7/8 times a day mostly at work as I drink around 1.5 Litres of water when sat at my desk.
  21. Surely if Hillsborough disaster happened and it was a all seater stadium, it would have been much worse? I have maintained all along that the problems were the policing/stewarding, and the fact that the supporters were penned in with high fencing? If there were no fences, Hillsborough disaster would never have happened that day in 1989.
  22. He has played at the top level, not that long ago. Surely worth a punt, and we are in divison 3!
  23. Hardly the universe, but more the south and south west.... now the east! Pretty rubbish Dr Who series that would be.
  24. Yes it is Lordhill, that is what I was suppose to to put. Come on I grew up in the flower estate, Swaythling, and did not put Bassett like most of the estate agents do!!
  25. Bottling that up for 3 weeks, could not let it go any longer and had to get the joke out. fair play!
