Today was always a going to be a real test. The first since the opening weekend.

I was looking at the fixtures and I feel, if we can get a good result today, we could add another 13/15 points by the end of November, with a favourable run of games coming up. If we did manage to get the win that would take us to 16 points today. 30 points by the end of November! Safe by new year.... Europe by May?!

Have to point out that Chelsea are at City and then play Villa, Villa have Liverpool next week. So if we win both of our next 2 games, we have a great chance of being top.

Newcastle were terrible, but we looked a good outfit, passed the ball well and put the ball in the net when required. Still it is 4-0 in the premier league and we have played teams like that before and not made the most of it. 30 passes for the last goal and what a finish at the end. Newcastle should have scored, but it would have been very upset if they did, as they were that bad! Onwards and upwards, with more of test next week. Win it and Chelsea slip up, we could have a chance of going top at home to QPR! Ha ha
