Christ on a bike… “Nurse!”

Interesting article, thanks for sharing. Like the sound of a couple of these options.
-
First one awful, second one tolerable but looks like something Sheff Utd would have, third ✅✅✅
-
We think we have it tough…! The documentary on them was superb.
-
I could live with that if that’s what they go with - not with a plain back though. Looks like chevrons on the shoulder.
-
Horrible back, stripes too narrow. Looks a bit tacky.

Sunderland fans appear to have more faith in our chances next season than most of us do! https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/championship-next-season.1608495/page-2

Nor does Yosh, he left last year - he’s in Germany. And Gabbi is crocked. Still got the best kit in the league though.
-
Out of interest, why that sponsor?

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

Interesting… -
Top one please. I’d be delighted with that. Get rid of the white away kit. Yellow and blue away and no 3rd kit (totally unnecessary and only designed to fleece fans).
-
Nothing bland about red & white stripes. Just give me a nice, smart take on this and I’m happy. And most others would be too I suspect.

I actually think the board should talk to him. Selles is out of his depth, no doubt about it, and beyond that hasn’t helped himself with baffling selections and tactics, but the problem lies with the Board more than him. They are the ones who decided he was up to it when he clearly isn’t. But… he’s still an employee and a human being and deserves a bit of respect regarding the end of his tenure. It’ll speak volumes about Sports Republic if they don’t even do the human side of management well.

Martin. I’ve seen and read enough to sway me into thinking he’s worth a gamble. That said, if Potter were an option I’d still go for him.
-
The incoming CEO I presume. Until then it’s Kraft, but you’d hope they have someone lined up. The new person will appoint a COO presumably who’ll oversee day-to-day operations. Wilcox in charge of the footballing side.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

Yes of course, it would have to be on vastly reduced terms. No idea who Martin will bring with him, or if space in the coaching staff. Just a thought… -
My preference would definitely have been Potter - who has experience of both - but looks like that’s a non-starter (though heard from Brighton mate’s he was keen - possibly dependent upon staying up though). Martin is a gamble no doubt, but there is at least some logic behind the appointment, unlike Jones.
-
I think I read he didn’t win any of his first 9 Swansea games (Thomas Frank suffered the same start at Brentford). He has to get off to a better start than that or the natives will get very restless (given recent experience, understandably so). Possibly going to take a while ti bed in his preferred tactics. Some new recruits who already ‘get it’ would be useful.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

I’m really starting to think that Theo might be worth a one year contract. He still has pace, has bags of experience and could help some of the youngsters adjust to the Championship. Perhaps could even transition to a player-coach role and become part of the coaching set-up? -
No idea why they’d appoint Martin this week. Makes no sense to associate him with this season (also a bad omen given Jones started with Liverpool!). New manager, new players, fresh start. Let Selles see this one out and carry the burden of the Liverpool game.
-
He is experienced in the Championship though. From what I’ve seen/read on here I’m warming to him…
-
Nails it as ever. The Semmens one is a killer…
-
Don’t think anyone wants to build the team around him - more a case of at least trying to play in a way that can utilise him when he gets minutes. Will be interesting to see whether they persist with him or cut their losses…
-
Though how many were ‘effective crosses’? (i.e. got to their intended target area). PO was only on for the last 25 mins in that game wasn’t he? By which time Brentford were in total control.
