  1. Christ, that is all we need. Really thought Morgan was the one we could keep and build a team around. If guess if he foes go we have Vic, Corky and JWP to compete for his place. Don't we?
  2. Great stuff! Saints are back! Not massively keen on the diagonal watermark on the stripes, but I am seriously quibbling with that. Very happy - a masterpiece compared to the last two seasons monstrosities. Red & white stripes, black shorts - so easy to get right. COYS!!!
  3. But he's a good sport about it...! http://vod.com.ng/en/video/eaRxIf4o4jU/Phoenix-from-the-Flames-Ronald-Koeman
  4. Ginger Saints managers - Alan Ball, Gordon Strachan - good times beckon! (okay, and Dave Merrington, but hey he kept us up!).
  5. The future is bright, the future is orange. Hup Saints hup!
  6. It is??
  7. Excellent article challenging some of the misogyny going on in the press (and on here!)... http://www.football365.com/mediawatch/9118412/The-Page-That-Is-Sexified-And-Ancient?utm_source=twitterfeed_Mediawatch&utm_medium=twitter
  8. Mark Palios?
  9. Maybe we should lay off of the personal insults towards the person who owns our club and has the future of it in her hands? Just a thought...

  12. Maybe we should lay off of the personal insults towards the person who owns our club and has the future of it in her hands? Just a thought...
  13. Life will go on, even if MP leaves. He may however realise he is still onto a good thing (once he gets over the shock of NC's departure).
  14. Well said Steve. NO ONE is bigger than the club. Not Cortese, not Lowe, not McMenemy, not even dear old Ted. SMS will still be standing tomorrow morning. Players will still be training tomorrow. We will get a new CEO. Maybe we'll have new owners at some point soon. Possibly a new manager. But what we can be sure of is that 11 players will take the field and give their all for SFC for the rest of the season, and that the ground will be full of passionate fans cheering them on. That will never change. And who knows, the team may even be wearing red & white striped shirts and black shorts next season... ;-)
  15. Can only believe that KL has a buyer lined up. Let's hope so. And then let's hope that they can persuade MP to stay... otherwise there may be a horrible domino effect here.
  16. Will add a further plug for this book - quite simply superb, certainly the best, most comprehensive guide to Saints past and present (not just because it's the most recent!). Like others have commented, I was staggered by how many players from the recent past I had totally forgotten! If you haven't already bought a copy you must. You will not regret it. It's a snip for the enjoyment you'll get from it. Well done Duncan, David and Gary - an amazing achievement.
  17. I was waiting for somewun to pipe up with that wun!
  18. No, but he was partially responsible for the f*ck up - poor awareness of what was going on in front of him.
  19. I think you'll find Arsenal was THREE moments of madness in one move. Re. Stoke, regardless of the weather, if you can't be focussed in the first minute of a game when can you be? It was somewhat freakish, but his positioning was poor.
  20. No. 1? You mean Number 1? See, we can all be pointlessly pedantic...
  21. Off the top of my head - Stoke, Hull, and Arsenal of course. His distribution is appalling too. Believe me, I have never, and would never, put him in the Niemi bracket...
  22. If you could guarantee he cut out the lapses in concentration - which you can't. I see him more as a solid deputy.
