  1. Full source here: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/deaths/datasets/deathsbyvaccinationstatusengland EDIT: Pretty sure it's bullshit, but realised they used a weird date spacing not used in the original study. This makes it tricky to disprove. The study does have an age averaged death per vaccine plotted here: Here is the official plot from the study:
  2. "Hey grandad, when there was a heavily transmissible virus killing millions world wide did you isolate from others to prevent the spread?" "No I did not, I wasn't scared of the virus, do you think I am some sort of pussy?! I endangered my fellow man by aiding the spread so I could have a pint at the local, like a real hero would"
  3. The thing is questions like "Is MLT being objective?", "Is he just asking questions?", "Does he have an agenda?" are a bit pointless imo. It's like saying "I entrusted my 8 year old to paint the guest bedroom, did he have an honest go at it or did he piss about?" The answer is, it doesn't matter, he is so wildly unqualified that his earnest attempts and him fucking around have pretty equal relevance and outcome. This is why we hire professional scientists.

    Salisu

There's a bit of back story: "In November 2019, Salisu received his first call-up to Ghana's senior squad, after being named by Kwesi Appiah in the squad for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe.[26] He withdrew from the squad citing injury problems.[27] In 2020, after C.K. Akonnor was appointed as manager of the national team, according to media speculation he made attempts to reach him but his efforts proved futile as seemed Salisu was not interested in playing for the team.[28][29] His family later came out with a statement to refute all the information within the public space that suggested his refusal to play for the national team. The statement read that '' We further wish to state unequivocally that our son is a proud Ghanaian and very ready to represent Ghana at every level and time''.[28][29] His elder brother later granted an interview on local radio station Angel FM talking about his brother's call up snub into the Black Starlets, the Ghana U-17 team whilst he was playing in Ghana, due his inability to pay to be in the team and not because his performance was substandard.[29] In April 2021, during an interview with MozzartSport Kenya, Salisu stated that he would be proud to play for the national team but it was not the right time for him to play and that he needed to focus on his club career. He concluded that when everything is fine at club level, he can go and play for the national team."

    Adam Armstrong

Yeah I was quite impressed with him yesterday, his hold up play was better than I've seen it as before. I think his miss at 1-0 was dire, and the sort of thing we'd crucify Armstrong for, but in general it was a stronger game for him. Especially after the change of shape when Benteke came on.
  6. Postponed not the worst thing for us. Will give some time for Che and the Armstrongs to get fit and maybe a keeper, although Willy looked OK last game.
  7. In that one the big club had the trouble, united had the outbreak. If Brighton had an outbreak and United were fine to play it'd be interesting to see how the premier league judged it. I will say though, it was a little tongue in cheek, I don't think the big club bias is that blatant, but I do think Rodgers has a bit of a point. The prem definitely has cash cows it doesn't want to upset.
  8. Schrodingers DMan. Simultaneously our squad is championship level and our captain is wank but also we should be expecting results 3 points against good quality midtable sides with three of our best forwards out. The squad is bad when he wants to insult our players and good when he wants to insult the manager. Consistency doesn't matter, it's just about being as negative as is feasibly possible in the moment. The way of the troll.
  9. It's fine. The forum is actually a really nice place to be when we are doing well. People interact honestly and pleasantly, everyone shares their views and the worst they'll get is someone saying "Oh I don't agree at all because...", and it's generally a good environment. When we lose a certain few posters come out, and everyone knows who they are and expects them, and they bitterly point score, rant, and make wildly hyperbolas claims in order to piss others off. Most aren't as blatant as to compare us negatively to our arch rivals in league 1. For most I think its a matter of "I'm upset because my team is doing bad and I want to bring others down with me to wallow", but definitely some, including those who praise fucking pompey, I sometimes suspect may be more in favour of those down the road.
  10. So in this post where I call you out for being negative despite a positive result away from home and a good performance you find an excuse to: A) Call the team poor B) Slag off the manager C) Continue to bitch and whine about a difference of opinion we have regarding the quality of two of our players Can't you just be happy we got a point and celebrate that Broja played well and scored a wondergoal as did JWP?
  11. Can't see this happening tbh. If we were a big club and it was on the telly then it might stay on but for us they'll just cancel this.
  12. Leeds senior squad availability. Probably won't go down but 4/1 could be a decent snip. We are 15/2 btw, 6th most likely. If we beat Brentford on the weekend (assuming it happens) then we'll probably be less likely than them.
  13. I think with set pieces we have an issue that our players aren't getting on the end of them well. For instance, we had two free kicks which JWP put bang on the money yesterday onto the heads of Broja and Long and both were tame easy saves for the GK. I also think the corners are often into dangerous areas but rarely connect with our guys. I wonder if that is because the players who are attacking them this season are worse than those last. This is the one, literally the only one, place we miss Vestergaard. There are times where JWP hits the first man or puts it too close to the keeper and thats on him, but thats normal goals from corners are extremely rare. But I think often they have a nice trajectory and are into a nice area but, to steal an NFL term, our players in the box aren't getting "separation". And when they do, they don't make the best of it. That's why the commentators keep bigging them up, they have nice height and trajectory, we just aren't attacking the ball well enough.
  14. Seen him linked with Ajax, maybe we could compete with that. They have picked up our rejects (Tadic, we won't discuss what transpired after that!) and we have picked up top players from that league before. They are a pretty good side which normally does ok in the CL but the allure of the prem is a big deal, especially for English lads. Very unlikely though as you say and a team like Spurs should be all over this.
  15. I imagine Armstrong will, he did come back in last time after Broja scored a couple of goals benching Broja. Sounds like Adams might be out for a while though so a front four of Armstrong, Broja, Redmond, Tella is probably what we will use for the time being.
  16. I think it's a shame really, there are a couple of people on this forum who do it. They tend to have a great time when we lose doom mongering and comparing us to league 1 sides but when we don't they have to do something with all the negativity so go on tirades like this. Duckhunter is the same, we got a positive result yesterday and the first post I saw from him since was criticising some opinion I shared about Benitez a while back. It wasn't even relevant to the conversation, no one mentioned everton.
  17. Damn, this is one very angry post Guess we didn't lose yesterday so you are in a bad mood, nothing else to moan about. Chin up mate, at least pompey won this week.
  18. Dean Henderson wants out of united apparently. Absolute dream signing but I think his sights will be set higher than us.
  19. I think Tella was knackered tbh. Broja was subbed for protection by the looks of things but Tella just was out of steam.
  20. I think that they are fine as 5th choice forward and 5th/6th choice AM. It more showed that we had Stu, Arma, and Adams out and were scraping the barrel somewhat. When we get the aforementioned back Adams, Arma, Broja as strikers with Tella and Redmond also options and Stu, Tella, Redmond, Elyounoussi as AMs is probably plenty. I'd see another DM, a keeper, or a better CB to play next to Salisu signed first, personally.
  21. Willy actually did alright from acute angles today, repelled one from Tomkins, one from Edouard, and one other I can't remember who from.
  22. Djenepo should be nowhere near our team atm. Tella in AM, Che or Arma up top.
  23. Yes absolutely. I think he was poor for the first goal but in general he was much much better today. Made some good stops with his feet, stood up to Eduoard well 1v1, and his little tip to take it off the head of Benteke was superb.
  24. Doubt it, very difficult to score from such an acute angle. That's why showing the player outside when one v one is the first thing a CB is taught. He might have scored but it massively lowers his chances. Of course Lyanco wouldn't want to be in a 1v1 situation against a top forward but that happens as a CB and you have to show them outside and make it hard for them, inviting them to cut inside and hit it with their stronger foot is a cardinal sin for a CB. Others were poor too, don't get me wrong, but Lyanco was the one who made the most fundamental error.
  25. I think a number of our wins came from going 1-0 up and then bringing on Diallo and/or Lyanco to win the midfield battle and/or shore up the back line so not sure I agree there. Leeds, United, and City come to mind (although the latter two were draws)
