Well i dont think the club are to blame its Higgins that was the problem. I grew up in a similar timeframe to these players and had the same gossip with a school teacher at the time, its so different to how things were said back then to nowadays. You could say why did parents allow their children to stay a a coachs house for example, its bonkers to think that now. The early 90s court case was badly messed up by authorities (some players wouldnt give evidence as well) and then we saw a tv documentary go out in the 96/97 ? and no action was taken then. 'Care of duty' and all that was so different back then as nobody expecetd abuse to take place, it was nowhere on the radar like the last 10 years. Glad these players now get help from the club when needed.

Adjacent to the demolished old bridge the stadium footbridge would have to come down as well.

It would make sense to do something similar to what West Ham have done with a percentage stake sold to underpin some woeful debt the club are grappling.

This is something Rupert Lowe seriously considered and even looked at some farms on the M3 corrider in the early 00s. He said to me that the club was missing out on signing certain players, not because of wages, but because they wanted to live in london or Manchester etc Its a viable point that many players live north of southampton and that if the club had a training ground placed Chandlers ford and upwards, they could attract players that would live in surrey say and still have their London playground. I also think because staplewood is so narrow the layout is very tight and the main building isnt really designed well. But now weve spent a good £50million on the whole thing its not going to be moving anywhere else.

Still very much in the wrong place and should be located in the winchester M3 corridor.

New ticket office manager , london mush so thinks we can afford all these price hikes.

I suggest you read all the articles online that show Lowe was behind Poortvliets and Wottes arrival. Wilde was just chairman in a dud role with Lowe as executive controlling it all.
-
eh ? Him and Wotte both Lowe appointment.

Is the Premier League too rich for us?
SaintsLoyal replied to Lallana's Left Peg's topic in The Saints
Players wages are the real problem. -
Saints club value has dropped right down now due to the excessive debt and covid, so i think its worth just £100-150M + debt (£100M+) Derby County will lose ownership of their ground to MD holdings (we have large loan with them) unless they can satisfy their loan debt via a new owner.

JWP is well covered by a contract, so its not an issue unlike Ings and Vestergaar,d who deliberately reduced their contracts down.

No idea why fans get a hard on about moving away fans to a corner, its traditional to have away fans behind one goal. Its a disgrace that some grounds have put away fans miles up in the upper tiers and shouldnt be allowed. If people are then saying, they want a 'kop' well theyre always on the opposite to away fans, so it would be chapel stand. Certainly the Police and the safety certificate wouldnt allow any move nowadays as its critical to control fans and closing the road to home fans is perfect, when needed. No other part of the ground would be feasible or it would have hundreds of fans facing each other at full time. No thank you !

Just a tacky pr stunt If you want people to be treated the same you dont create an 'us and them' situation, be that colour of skin or sexual preference.
