I'd also hasten to add that many would consider extreme left wing ideals to be prefereable to extreme right ideals - but I'd be the first to admit that extremism of any form always manifests itself in a negative way. I've said on here repeatedly that whle my ideals - a fair world, freedom etc etc - are in line with something decidedly left of centre, in pragmatic terms, my views are more centre left than extreme, and occasionally nip over the border depending on the subject. Anyone who doesn't realise that political, social and economic approaches cannot be solved with one blanket appraoch and set of immovable ideas knows nothing about any of it. I don't think anyone here advocates communism as it has existed in the world.
