I'd have to say that I've always had a feeling that we didn't try to hard, and when Funnel hit the post he looked more relieved & shocked he'd gone so close, than dissapointed not to have scored. but that is just my perception of the game. As others have said,we did the buisness on the previous Tuesday, & my memory of the goal difference was that there needed to be a 12 goal swing in Brightons favour over the weekend for us to stay down. The game was all about celebrating promotion not about the game.

I'd hope we can get Hooiveld in permanently, & i'd like us to get a striker in with pace that gives us that extra option up front. I'd love us to get Maynard aboard the bus in January. Apart from that I think were pretty well covered.

Wow how orgasmic is it being a Saints fan at the moment? Now I'm normally a half glass empty type of guy, but even I feel strangely cool & confident these days. Even when Coventry got back to 2-2 I have the initial old feeling then just say to myself this is not the old Saints we are stronger than that & will get the right result. Keep it going Saints!

Don't quite know how he managed to play last night so soon after what happened to him & his family. But a big hand to him & the Ref for showing common sense in not booking him. Great for him to score like that for his little boy.

No real surprise there both Fergies are graceless knobs in defeat. Just seen the challenges on the Saints player & both tackles are worthy of Yellow cards. On both occasions he goes to ground, sliding in with studs showing & goes through our player each time. Don't see what he is complaining about. Probably P**sed off that Chaplow stuck it to him again. As for the goals both well worked defence splitting moves, end of!
