I noticed in the mirror that Everton will give Moyes a chunk of the 10-million to spend, well the full 10-million would be short of what it would take to get Lallana, try adding a chunk to it & a deal might be possible if & only if he wanted to go & we wanted to sell. They can't afford him & a club going backwards.

Now its up to you to get yourself a seat by January. must admit I wasn't overly impressed at the time I heard about it, but hey ho NA want's him its only a loan & he may prove to be a very astute piece of business. We are not desperate for players, there is a loan window to come & we've not let ourselves be ripped off for the likes of J Rod & Maynard. Also we have our powder dry for January the likes of Maynard will be in the lats 6-months of their contract & will be more cost affective!

Their plan would be to get us into the premiership as soon as possible doing it the right way. Adkins has instilled into the team a football philosophy that NC wants Saints to play, & one that will improve our standing in the game. One that maybe will make players want to stay & want to come here. Also they have instilled a great team spirit. Their ambitions will be for us to do the best we can Aim for the top & if we don't quite make it then it becomes the play-offs. I would have been happy before a ball was kicked to have consolidated this year & maybe in with a run at the play-offs come the turn of the year. We have proved beyond all doubt so far that we can compete against anyone in this league. I see no reason we can't be right up there challenging throughout the season.

I for one still can't believe his old man put his son into this situation at Arsenal (purely financial decision) . He was on a loser from the start yesterday, looked like he didn't have a clue in team that was totally shell shocked. Poor decision by Wenger to throw him into that situation. Unfortunately OXO has to live with the decision he & his advisers have made for him. Yes he may be financially secure, but I don't see him enjoying his football for 3/4 years at Arsenal. He didn't want to stay we got a good deal so we both move on, end of story.

Would I like to see a couple of signings that would enhance the squad, yes! Would I like to see the wrong players brought in at the WRONG price then NO! NO & NO again. Are we that desperate for players? Once again no, even if the right deals can't be done in this window for the right price, then we will have another opportunity in January window. Also there will be opportunities for loans from the prem in the next week or two.

Just seen the goals on Sky was definitely a bad push on Lambert. Merson saying it was a joke & should have been a free kick for Saints.

Lets also not forget that the 3rd goal was controversial as well, may well have been a whole different ball game going in at 2-1.

Well the result may not have been right, but I think a few questions have been answered today, Adkins proved he can change things at half time (good tactical switch). We've proved we can overcome a poor start & take anyone on on their own patch. We came up against a keeper on fire & just needed a little bit of luck. Two home games to come & 6-more points will do nicely. Big up to the fans who went they sounded awesome.

Oh well shame but great effort, another day & a bit more luck. Hey ho we will win more than we lose playing like that.
