  1. Just heard it on the way in on the radio. Now they are saying that they will now be able to fulfil their fixture's? I would have thought that there is a long way to go before that occurs, they surely have to get an administrator to take them on, & as such they have to be able to finance the club until they find a buyer don't they? I'm sure that the day they opt for Administration, they new administrators first job is to pay the wages & TAX & PAYE due this month? very attractive to a potential Administrator. What happens about the court case on Monday, do they still have to go, because I thought that the court case was more about them trading insolvently? Maybe wrong, or does administration protect them from that. I thought that administration protected you from creditors, but will it protect them from trading insolvently. Because then the HMRC would be after the directors for payment. Or being cynical, is it chainrai's way of look we tried everything even going into Administration but they wouldn't let us save the club! Can I please build a housing estate & a 100000 sqr-mtr supermarket.
  2. Is that what the wait for investment is then 50p for a jump start :smt082
  3. That was a great read, Aussiesaint glad you finally got to see a Saints Victory & experienced the derby atmosphere. Lets hope you get to see many more over the years.
  4. Love that Chainrai has insisted that the South African consortium showed proof of funds by lodging them with the banks. Did he personally watch while they handed over a single Pound Coin, they should get change from that for Pompey.
  5. I think if I were on the Poopey trust I'd be a bit reticent about accepting 10% of the club at the moment & certainly looking into the legalities of it. Er hello is that the poopey trust, yes! This is Sasha you owe me 9-million pounds, how would you like to pay. Looks like Storrie teller will have to go to another Iron in the fire then. Tick tock tick tock 4 working days left then!
  6. GM that was brilliant, but just sprayed the works computer with orange juice. LOL. Should have a warning at the start don't read this with a mouth full of drink!
  7. Same again please Saints, lets get a bit of consistency 1-3 away win.
  8. That is a DIRECT QUOTE sid everything Ive just posted he said maybe not word for word, but that statement is 100% what he said
  9. I think that last statement he made when directly questioned about when they could expect the confirmation of funds from the bank, was when he started covering his backside once again, no one ever knows it could be up to 48-hrs maybe more Cough cough Lovely Plumage  Of course it could be down to file being stuck, you no how often that happens. As we know from experience its not the bad news that hurts so much its the hope that kills you, more agony piled on for the blue few.
  10. Oh wouldn't be surprised if it didn't take another 48hrs F**King hell you just couldn't write this S**T
  11. Keep your fingers crossed & hope, they just need a document from the bank for proof of funds, Lets hope one of those pesky files don't get stuck.
  12. We all have to take responsibility for the state of the club BUT WERE ALL ONLY EMPLOYEE'S LOL
  13. General negotiations are complete just waiting for proof of funds!
  14. Storrie Teller on Sky live now
  15. I tend to agree with sidthesquid. Whilst I hate what they've become as a club. I hate with a vengeance the 3 c**ts who started the financial meltdown & cheating. And i hope that all three end up in Parkhurst. I hate some of their more moronic supporters. I hate the fact that they've cheated there way through the last few years, and should pay a heavy price for it 9-points this season & I hope 30-points next season. But without them we have lost something we've lost our natural rivals our hated enemies, we've lost the p**s taking, come on who's not LOVED this thread, its been fantastic! We may laugh if a week on monday they're gone but in a few weeks/months we'd start to miss them, you cannot manufacture a local rivalry, I just hope they get their just rewards of a few years in the wilderness of lower league football. however I fear the worst for them.
  16. Absolutely No we only have a slight chance of overcoming the points deficit to claim an improbable play-off place (I don't believe it will happen) but we have to try, we need to win & keep on winning so we have to as AP has stated play your best team week in week out. No more tinkering If we are to stay down this year lets go out fighting & set down our marker for next season. Make the league fear us next season.
  17. I hope I'm wrong, but I've said from the start we will just miss out. But if we can win the games in hand & beat Huddersfield at home, then they will suddenly be looking over their shoulders & who knows what could happen. A little pressure on the teams above & you never know. I don't expect it but would be more than happy to be wrong. Its a big week if we can get another 2 wins at Wycombe & home to Walsall then back it up with beating Huddersfield then it may start to look realistic, I think we will know how realistic after the Leeds & the Swindon game by 9.45pm 13th March.
  18. I've never had a problem with Norwich or their fans, but reading this today they seem very bitter towards us for some reason. Now I don't have a problem with criticising the officials, but they seem to have forgotten the rest of the match that we totally dominated. http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=6875&posts=7
  19. Watched it this morning p**s poor coverage, good goals the second was a great run by Puncheon Lallana very unlucky, absolutely no comments about our game at all! Very poor almost ITV like.
  20. Sorry thought is was per month  Doh!
  21. Stop paying the tax man & get lots of African players in on ridiculous wages.
  22. Assuming your plan is a goer Gemmel :- 24 months ground rent @ 1-mill / month 24-mill if they get the wage bill down to say .5 million in the summer thats another 12-million tax Paye another 5/6 mill over 24 months. income at say 14,000 gates at say £25 a ticket = £350,000 per match X 23 = 8.05-mill match day reciepts & that is probably over the top. times that by 2 = 16.1 million over 24 months? It still doesn't add up
  23. No need for that BTF that's their back up plan when the South African deal falls through. Is it me or is this thread now turning into the if you could make it up thread! we had going a couple of weeks ago http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=19529 . Love the comment "if they get liquidated we will still not walk away" they must be interested in AFC Poopey then. Also they are looking into ways of paying less tax, good luck in that boys. Another bunch of cheating scumbags should fit right in a poopey.
  24. What an odious cretin he is, will he not stand up & take one jot of responsibility? Serves him right, I wonder how many having a go now were chanting his name a little while ago LOL.
  25. Cheers for that Arizona, it sounded like he had a good game, seemed to play well & have a good understanding with Puncheon. That's the impression I got from the commentary today anyway.
