  1. Don't think we will be in for anyone
  2. Hi the book will be available through us (website or pick up at SMS, or Eastleigh) or Waterstones. It will not be available at the club shop I am afraid. Mick Channon is doing a signing session at Waterstones Above Bar on the 5th December at 7pm if you can make it?
  3. Hope not he was clubbing it last night
  4. I have a little respect for this guy despite the fact he is a Skate. He did put his head above the parapet, he did take on the money men and he was right. I want Pompey to disappear into the non-league forever but I can't help thinking he did at least have the balls.
  5. He's still around, breeds sheep dogs but keeps an eye out for the Saints still
  6. Martin picked up a nasty ligament injury pre season, hence his absence
  7. Stuart Williams who played full-back for Saints 1962-66 and was Ted Bates's assistant between 1971 and 1973 has passed away. Previously with West Brom and capped over 40 times for Wales. I have sent the club a fuller profile which will be on their website shortly. A very nice man indeed, I would like to offer my condolences to all his family.

  15. Couldn't find the Fulham matchday thread for some reason so not sure this link has not been posted before but in case it hasn't http://www.vivaelfulham.co.uk/articles/fulham-sights-and-sounds-away-days-southampton-7-319.html
  16. Hasn't Adomah just scored a couple tonight for Boro?
  17. I think the answer to your question is because what is the point of standing for a political system that is - in his mind and mine - completely broken. Whatever side of the political fence you sit our current politicians are dysfunctionally only interested in staying in power and not actually governing to the greater good of society. Brand is articulating what a vast majority feel. Love him or hate him he talks more sense than any politician I have seen or heard in the last 10 years or more.
  18. Max you go for it - the more the merrier as far as I am concerned. I befriended a young French/Mauritian lad many years ago who married a friend of my wifes. He was football mad and asked if I could take him to the Dell which I did and he became as fervent as me. He lives in SA now but still follows the club with passion. People who were born and live outside the UK are quite entitled to support a club and if that club is Southampton then there is nothing wrong with that in my eyes.
  19. Some pretty fair opinions but one thing I am convinced about is...... if Carroll is preferred to him then that will be a travesty. Lambert may not be of World Cup standard (debatable) but sure as hell he is better than the Jessie from Upton Park.
  20. of making the squad that goes to Brazil? The Echo are of the opinion that it is a shoe in but I am not so sure. Reckon it is 50/50 and very dependent on his form over the next 6 months. Interested in other's opinion on his chances.
  21. Both are
