If anyone wants to come along to St Marks church hall in Archers Road tomorrow I shall be bringing along the Hampshire Junior Cup which was the first ever trophy won by Saints when they were known as St Marys, way back in 1888. The Cup was "lost" back in the 50s but was recently discovered in a cupboard at a school in Woolston. Also, if anyone wants to buy a copy of "Suited and Booted" signed by Club President, Terry Paine I shall be selling copies for a special one-day offer of just £13. Maybe see you there. -
I was as frustrated as the next man with Gaston last season but i know he has special talent and i really think we should persevere as talent does not grow on trees.
-
Don't think Sharp is in the same class as Austin - he certainly didn't score anything like a similar amount of goals last season and struggled to hold down a regular place for Forest.
-
He was on the pitch taking pics - maybe the club just wanted the club capt to get a game under his belt. I should'nt lose any sleep.
-
Mentally tougher - even Pochettino referred to "our lack of mental strength over the last 10 matches" - every team needs a nasty bastard - they have Nolan we have.................

The last time we played a side in trouble with media alleged internal discipline was QPR at home

Fair play to this fella

Yep apparently I am a left wing loon and can't wait to see the club in turmoil to suit my anti Cortese agenda. For the record - I haven't voted in an election for quite a few years (they are all a waste of space) and I want NC to stay and the club to be stable, however I am developing lunatic tendancies so Manji got one in four spot on.
-
-
I see, unlike me, manji you have failed to show your support for NC in the poll? I can only deduce that you are a closet left wing loon looking to see your club in turmoil?
-
Firstly it is hagiographies and secondly for what it is worth I voted for Cortese to stay; so I would like to know how that works into me being a left-wing loon who would like to see the club in turmoil? You appear to be the one with the personal agenda against me and as we have never met I struggle to understand why. Perhaps you read the Daily Mail?
-
And you are still wetting your knickers on my every word I am confident, very confident I have more idea than you on what is going down.
-
This is nothing more than an old fashioned power struggle that NC uncharacteristically has decided to make public. Chances are he will get his way (if common sense prevails and the Liebherr family fully appreciate what he has done over the last 4 years). Ever since Marcus's death the family must have regarded SFC as something to be put to one side but thanks to NC we have now become quite an asset - no wonder they want to reassert themselves. It's been great having rich owners but I always said it could/would end in tears, I just would have hoped we could have had a bit more glory especially as we survived the tricky first season.
-
I think you are there or thereabouts - like you say there will be no transfer deals while all this is up in the air.

He out performed Lambert, Lallana and Rodrigues
-
Lambert hasn't scored from open play for 8 games!
Fitzhugh Fella replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
I am Lambert's biggest fan but at WHL yesterday I thouyght we had Mork and Mindy up front playing for us so ineffectual were he and Jay Rod. And lallana was worse. Very worrying. -

And Lambert and Rodriguez were like Mork and Mindy today - so lightweight and ineffectual -

I think Adkins went a bit over the top on this tbh. -
Nice nice man, very sad news but i guess a bit of a relief that he is now at peace after an illness that was so hard to cope with. A good solid pro who was the salt of the earth.

I usually agree with your posts and think you talk sense but your last sentence is full of arrogance that is just crying out to come back to haunt us. Why do people like you tempt fate

So did Factless ever wonder why all these clueless chairman/ fly by night figureheads/knights of Arabia/Russian gangsters were trying to avoid him. Did he write a big long expose of all their corruption and falsehoods? No he sat back and whinged and wailed. Has he ever heard of investigative journalism where writers will balls and curiousity get out of their comfort zone and rattle a few cages? He is basically an overgrown schoolboy whom The News have given a lap top to - a true pygmy in the intrepid world of serious journalists no less. He'll be fine now - McInnes resident pet journo. God it is vomit inducing and if I see them refer to themselves as a massive club again then I will know their size complex is seriously incurable. Why do they have to keep on insisting to the weary world they are so big?
